The Epstein client list has taken on a life of its own. We’ve done the obvious analysis here before, which is simply, “Why is Ghislaine Maxwell in prison if there is no Jeffrey Epstein client list?” The entire case against Maxwell and against Epstein when he was alive, is that there was a steady trafficking in underage girls, going on for years and years. The girls weren’t solely procured for Epstein’s use but for the utilization of his business cronies and friends. The Lolita Express and the island weren’t just expensive toys and playgrounds, they were crime sites. And so with this in mind, the family of Ghislaine Maxwell has sent a statement to Donald Trump and everybody else in the world as well.

They had deleted all trump references and were about to publish the list.
Then other people on the list told them they had all kinds of evidence on Trump.

That sounds quite plausible. There is no way that people on the list, whomever they were, were going to go down with the ship and not take Trump with them. What I find surprising is that that wasn’t obvious to begin with. Why did Bondi even do the photo op with the white notebooks and all that to begin with?

VJ Cambrige’s tweet might well be the answer to WTF is going on. Sanitizing Trump by if not removing his name entirely then editing things to make any reference to him being benign, ‘explainable’ etc. is exactly the kind of thing Bondi would do. As I wrote in my own piece on this the problem is that she’s NOT Bill Barr. Ole Biliruben (an enzyme that give feces it’s color) is a gross, despicable excuse of a human being BUT he is one skilled attorney and a master at cover ups. Remember, he got the gig as AG due to his success in covering Bush 41’s ass over Iran-Contra. I doubt Poppy Bush was actually involved but he damned sure knew what was going on and looked the other way. And people caught up in it knew that and yeah, one or more might have adopted a ‘if I’m going down I’m taking HIM with me’ attitude.
Epstein’s alleged suicide was a neat trick. If shifted the story. Sure, the “why?” he’d be murdered included speculation of who might want to shut him up but as President pointing the finger at Trump was something even then news outlets were hesitant about doing. The main thing is that the case went away. For a while. However Trumpty just couldn’t let that sleeping dog alone and his antics during the campaign didn’t just kick it awake, it injected that dog with rabies. Now the animal is chasing Trump and foaming at the mouth.
But Bondi IS incompetent to handle something this big and at an agency that’s way beyond her ability to control. It makes sense word got out what she was up to and yes, some pretty powerful people (perhaps even Prince Andrew) made it clear that they weren’t about to just sit back and take what was coming. And it’s likely several ‘have receipts’ of their own as I believe Maxwell does.
Trump didn’t need to flog this during his campaign but he did. I honestly don’t think it made the difference even though the margin was narrow. Not for his MAGAs that are so upset now. IF they won’t let go of this bone it Irony will finally get a well-deserved chance to take a bow if Trump loses MAGA!
Trump has to be careful who he allows to be named. Whomever it is is going to lash back. And lashing back means taking Trump down with him.
This is a two-headed monster for trump. The first is that the material in the file could reveal him to be a pedophile. The second is that Epstein’s death, which an independent medical examiner who has investigated thousands of suicides and homicides concluded was homicide, occurred under his watch. Would a special counsel conclude that there might be a connection between the two?
If we lived in a world where a special counsel (as we used to understand that term) could actually be appointed, it would be wild to see what would happen.
The interesting thing here is that the MAGA base grabbed onto this with their jaws and they’re not letting go. Ultimately, that might do more than any special counsel ever could.
Is this the straw? Harkening back to his first run about shooting someone on 5th Ave and losing no voters. I didn’t believe it at first; too scared to admit the true nature of my countrymen. But in time I realized he was correct.

The MAGAts are rabid! Between this and the arrival of the prophesied tariff inflation, Dems have a clear path to sew destruction. bmBut if even THIS doesn’t sway a few MAGAts, nothing ever will.
