If Donald Trump would listen to anybody, there are plenty of people who could have and would have told him that Vladimir Putin is a viper and you don’t listen to him or trust him. But Trump eats Putin’s flattery with a spoon and believes that they are peers and that Putin listens to him. Putin may listen to Trump for entertainment purposes, that makes perfect sense, but he knows who and what Trump is and takes him no more seriously than the rest of the world.

After this weekend, we have a volatile situation in the Middle East. We have also seen the Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi show up in Moscow as Putin’s guest two days after Trump sent U.S. bomber planes to strike Iran’s three main nuclear sites, as reported by Reuters. Now here’s the clincher: Putin is claiming that Trump struck the bases without consulting him first. I do not believe that. So Trump is in the middle, being played by Putin, and used as a negotiating cudgel with Iran. And again, this is something that another president would have foreseen, but they were all too “dumb” according to J.D. Vance. God, how stupid we look in the world with these amateurs running the show.

“The absolutely unprovoked aggression against Iran has no basis and no justification,” Putin told Araqchi in televised comments.

There you have it, Putin publicly taking sides against Trump and America and siding with Iran. And there is more.

“For our part, we are making efforts to assist the Iranian people,” he added.
“I am very glad that you are in Moscow today, this will give us the opportunity to discuss all these pressing issues and think together about how we could get out of today’s situation.”
Araqchi told Putin that Iran was conducting legitimate self-defence, and thanked Russia for condemning the U.S. actions. He conveyed best wishes to Putin from Iran’s supreme leader and president. “Russia is today on the right side of history and international law,” said Araqchi.
Reuters goes on to say, “It was unclear, however, what Russia might do to support Iran, an important ally with which Putin signed a strategic cooperation treaty in January. That agreement did not include a mutual defence clause.” Thank God for that or this weekend’s activities would have even graver consequences. But again, do you believe Vladimir Putin?
Before Saturday’s U.S. strikes, Moscow had warned that U.S. military intervention could destabilise the entire region and plunge it into the “abyss”. Asked what Russia was ready to do to help Tehran, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said: “It all depends on what Iran needs”.
He said the fact that Moscow had offered to mediate in the crisis was itself a form of support. Peskov condemned the U.S. attacks. “An increase in the number of participants in this conflict is happening – or rather, has happened. A new spiral of escalation of tension in the region,” Peskov told reporters.
“And, of course, we condemn this and express regret in this regard, deep regret. In addition, of course, it remains to be seen what happened to (Iran’s) nuclear facilities, whether there is a radiation hazard.” Peskov said Trump had not told Putin in detail about the planned strikes in advance.
My belief, as stated weeks ago, is that Putin would direct Trump to bomb Iran. Now we have Putin as the innocent party who knew nothing. Putin is a viper, pitted against a couple of slow, amateur mice, namely Trump and Vance. I don’t see how this comes out in America’s favor.

  1. Trump was trained at discos and fancy parties in NYC. Putin is a formerly trained KGB agent. No contest, especially after the collusion/cover up in 2016, and the sycophantic shitshow Trump put on in Helsinki. I can’t wait for the pee tapes.

    • Forgot to mention why I look forward to the pee tapes…it’s not because of some sexual fetish, although to each their own, but because it would be cathartic to see SOMEBODY take a piss on Trump, even if it’s Russian ladies of the night so to speak.

  2. Yeah, maybe Putin is playing the “Let’s you and him fight” game. It would be potentially in his favor, and he is probably a better strategist than that orange guy and the throng of flunkies he puts around himself to sing his chorus of praise.
