Pete Hegseth continues to prove how UNfit he is for the position as head of the Defense Department. tRump should have let him stay with Fox. Hegseth continues to embarrass himself, and Agent Orange by extension, because he doesn’t know when to keep his mouth shut. Here we have another example of how crabby he is when blocked by yet another judge. From Raw Story:
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth raised onlookers’ eyebrows on Saturday with an attack on a judge who recently ruled against the Trump administration in a court case about banning transgender troops. A right-wing news source recently reported that, “U.S. District Judge Ana C. Reyes orders Pentagon to allow transgender troops, calls Trump ban ‘unabashedly demeaning.'”
Hegseth responded to that report on social media, writing, “Since ‘Judge’ Reyes is now a top military planner, she/they can report to Fort Benning at 0600 to instruct our Army Rangers on how to execute High Value Target Raids.” He then added, “after that, Commander Reyes can dispatch to Fort Bragg to train our Green Berets on counterinsurgency warfare.”
See what I mean? Hegseth thinks he can bend the law to suit himself, just like El Presidente Imbécil tries to do. It doesn’t work that way, so then he cries crocodile tears when he doesn’t get what he wants. We all know by now that Petey boy doesn’t believe in the law except for the Supreme Court, and he doesn’t even necessarily listen to them!
Seriously, now, what the h*ll! He refuses to pay attention to LAWS?! He is in a position where he *has* to listen to the law, yet he refuses??!! Good grief, the boy proves again and again that he doesn’t have a clue as to what he is doing. But! Reprisal was swift.
Army combat vet Fred Wellman said, “You just helped the case you monumental jacka–.”
New York Times columnist David French said, “This is a childish temper tantrum. Either the judge is right on the law or not, and if she’s so obviously wrong then you should have no problem winning on appeal. Go file your appeal and stop whining.”
Legal scholar Norman Ornstein replied to French: “Give him a break, David. He was drunk when he posted this!”
See what I mean? The last comment thus far is perfect. Drunk when he posted this. And lo, much laughter ensued! People know just how to deflate his ego (and his thinking). Hegseth doesn’t know when to keep his big mouth shut. It also seems he’s forgetting this is not the Fox network.
Self-described political junkie Timothy Bellman said, “It sounds like you think you’re above the law.”
Politico’s Kyle Cheney also weighed in on social media Saturday:
“Notably, the Trump administration declined Judge Reyes’ request for a declaration from Secretary Hegseth explaining whether his tweet about the ban transgender troops — which conflicted with the administration’s argument in court — was accurate,” the reporter wrote.
Former public defender Rob Poggenklass said, “Judge Reyes graduated with honors from Harvard Law, clerked for a judge on the Second Circuit, was named the Woman Lawyer of the Year by the Women’s Bar of DC, and was confirmed by a Senate vote margin twice as big as Justice Kavanaugh.”
Ouch! And touche! Holy cow, what a group of comments, or should I say, comebacks? These people just wiped the floor with him! And it serves him right. He doesn’t know when to stop, and he is getting hammered for it.
People pay attention to his nonsense. I keep thinking he’ll know better than to post this drivel, and he continues to prove me wrong. Shaking my head because nope. Pete, Pete, Pete, learn to keep your mouth shut. Thanks for sticking with me!

Zoomers, if you can help the Little Political Blog That Could keep trekking through cyberspace, we would appreciate it. My medical issues are still ongoing. I need to have a minor operation to remove a skin tumor. The hits just keep on coming, like a ’50s radio station. Thank you for all you do. Ursula

After Saturday, anyone surprised Hegseth is still in post? Or have we run out of Fox names who haven’t caught on, bar the ever loyal Hannity. Who’s on the bingo cards?
Hegseth, unfortunately, will probably be the last person to be dumped by Drumpf (ooh–I’ve got a new term for someone fired or let go by Drumpf: Drumpfed–anyway). I mean, Hegseth barely got confirmed; he literally needed Vance to come in and cast a tie-breaking vote. With that lack of confidence in him–remember, the GOP has a clear majority in the Senate with 53 members so for Vance to come in and break the tie, that meant that 3 GOPers had NO confidence in Hegseth’s being the Secretary of Defense.
For Drumpf to dump Hegseth will mean that *Drumpf* made a mistake and we all know that Drumpf NEVER makes mistakes. He’s a major league genius–right up there with Wile E Coyote (at least, most of Wile E’s problems comes from dealing with that lousy Acme Corporation–probably a part of the Drumpf Organization).
Drump should had “drumped” Hegseth about “two Scarmuccis” into his appointment. Smirk. 😏
Nice one! Bahahahahahaha!
Sorry, “Drumpf” and “drumpfed!”
I had forgotten JD had to break the tie! That has to be a subtle yet HUGE vote of no confidence. Too bad they put him in there anyhow. Big lack of confidence there. And those who voted against him are being proven right! Also, Wile E Coyote LOLOLOL
I’m surprised! He’s looking worse and worse. tRump could get him to step down for “personal reasons,” and that would save face for both of them.
