Hey Speaker Mike Johnson, Do You Ever *Really* Think?

Mike, you done gone and pissed off someone you ought not to have done. Your razor-thin majority is shrinking. And you’re not going to get any support from this person. Seems to me you really did NOT think before you made this decision *sniff sniff do I see a bribe in here? sniff sniff* mayyyyyyyybe. Or maybe not but it’s certainly a change for you to remove someone very talented and knows what he’s doing compared to the new person you put into the spot. Or one last thought …. Could it be because he supports NATO and supporting Ukraine when a certain incoming president does not? Still, Mike, that’s pretty effed up.

On Thursday Speaker Johnson announced that Rep Mike Turner, from Ohio, would not be chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, and is being replaced by Rep Rick Crawford. Turner is rebelling against the Speaker and Johnson should realize he might not be able to count on Turner’s vote. This is when he has to court the Democrats and hope to get some votes This is why *I* hope the Democratic Party will stand firm and not help him. It’s about time for the Democrats to stand firm. Rep Turner, I hope you sock it to him and kick it hard enough that the Speaker won’t know what happened.

That’s a pretty damn sh*tty way to find out you’ve lost a position. It kinda feels familiar, although mine was not nearly as severe as yours. But to *announce* it? I’ll bet you had no idea this was coming and that was a pretty damn sh*tty thing to do to you. I wonder why he didn’t speak to you privately. I wouldn’t want to do anything for the person who blindsided you. I hope you just sit back and watch the fireworks. Now you have to go through with the position of the Chair of the U.S. Delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. That’s not even a bone worth throwing to you. Chairman. What the hell is he supposed to do? Does he actually HAVE anything to do? That feels like a position in name only. It’s just a little thing to make up for getting fired with no warning. Too bad you can’t get him punted out of Speaker but I guess it’s “the devil you know”.

Y’all, I was stunned by this news. Why are they kicking him out (so to speak) when he has the authority and the experience? I keep thinking it’s something to do with the Mango Mandarin. Rep Turner supports aid to Ukraine. Pretty sure tRump doesn’t. Maybe that’s why. Nevertheless, just announcing it and not telling you privately (why were you so scared to tell him person to person, Mike Johnson) is, as I’ve said before, some serious bullsh*t.

So here we are, someone with brains to do something very well, and he gets kicked out. Not that I like Republicans but Mike Turner was a good solid worker. What happens next? Only time will tell.
