The MAGAfication, or if you prefer, the enshittification of the Republican party, is now complete. Joe Biden gave his farewell address and while doing that, Donald Trump doubled down on taking credit for Biden’s ceasefire and puffed himself up like a blowfish about how big and strong and powerful his incoming administration is going to be. The problem with what Trump’s doing is that it ignores the most basic precept of politics, which is that the party in power will soon be the party out of power and vice versa. That’s just how the metronome ticks, how the pendulum swings. But Trump has never grasped that and so he’s only too happy to trash his own party while taking credit for the achievements of the other party.

Donald just couldn’t have Joe taking the spotlight and so he had to rush right in and get a few key lights or twinkie lights on himself. He’s got to be the center of attention at all times.

The man does make enemies. That he is good at. And enemies do have a way of multiplying. And what is comical is that Pam Bondi was asked about an enemies list today during her confirmation hearing. She said there would never be such a thing at the DOJ. What would you call what Trump just spewed here on Twitter?
Five more days until we see what a clown show the Inauguration turns out to be. I wonder how many more enemies Trump will make between now and then. If any of the people on his list were planning to attend any of the balls or festivities, I daresay that they have decided to back out now.

Oh, the irony. Trump takes credit for the Gaza ceasefire. Reagan took credit for the release of the Iran hostages, despite Carter doing all the work behind the scenes.
