We have to work across the aisle. We have to help bills get passed. If we don’t work across the aisle we’ll never get anything done. We have to do this we have to do that we have to have to have to*screeeeech*full stop no, no and NO. You do NOT have to do a damn thing! Democrats, what is the MATTER with you! If the House of Representatives and the Senate have Republican majorities, let THEM do the work and come to YOU for help!
Have all Democrats lost their minds overnight from November 4 to November 5? Have we all forgotten what Kamala represented and what she taught us? Has everyone turned into well-behaved 5-year-olds that do what the teacher says or do what Mother says? “You need to be polite and share and help people.” Well, I’m saying NO! I’m saying HELL NO!!! We do NOT need to help Republicans. We do NOT have to support their bills. We do NOT have to do things before they ask them. HELL NO! We need to grow our spines back and start looking towards mid-terms! We need to get a better majority than the House or Senate currently has, so there will be NO question of who is in charge!
What is WRONG with us? Yes, we lost but just like President Biden did with his Build Back Better, *WE* can Build Back Better. Stop whining. Put your hankies in the dryer. Get back to work! We can remind Kamala of what she taught us. We can remind Kamala of what she showed us. We will not be beaten down!
Why yes, I do like exclamation points. I feel they are needed. We need to shake ourselves out of the stupor of giving up. We need to do better for the midterms (in 2 years, just to remind you) and the White House in 4 years. We thought we had it. We were wrong. And damn, it hurts to be wrong. We should have been waking up to President-elect Kamala Harris. But we didn’t. I cried that day, just like half a country did. We couldn’t believe that all that work, all that JOY, had lost to tRump *again* because people believed his campaign promises that you and I know are never going to happen. And the main thing, the economy…he’s already been saying it was going to be hard to bring prices down and he isn’t even in the White House yet! Half the country is going to be in for a big surprise in February when prices keep going up. And up. That’s a problem that *we* can’t fix right now, and *he* can’t either. But they believed *him*.
Come on people, let’s be better than this. Let’s call our Democratic House and Senate people out. Let’s tell them to get their spines back and make the Republicans *WORK* for your help. Tell them to grow up and that you owe your constituents, not Republicans. Get themselves off the floor and work for what WE believe. That’s not a shyster with orange makeup and a bad combover. That’s someone who MEANs what they say and CAN DO what they say. We have 2 years til midterms and we can rock those out! Get the sanity back. And since the Mango Mandarin can’t run for another term, let’s get another sane President who cares about the *country* as well as themselves in 4 years. Come on Democrats. Let’s do this!

Exactly, GOP/MAGA are the party of government, in full control (ish) of all pillars. Most fully of the SC. Therefore, let them govern. It is for the Democratic Party to define clearly and stand up for its principles (in their own right but with a focus on 26/28 and thereafter). There will be an inevitable reckoning where all will be looking for the shining light on thhill. Let it be rooted in Democratic principles. That said, in a world of realpolitik, if there are occasions when there is a gop/MAGA division and there a a call for support for “reasonable” measures then, of course, it is wise to provide support in line with Democratic principles and the longterm well-being of the country/world.
