The country is not only split into two factions, in many ways it’s like we’re two species of people. The smart, decent, generous people that I know Americans to be are still here. And then there are the ones who voted for the convicted felon, the one who incited the January 6 riot, like that was nothing more serious than tossing a snow cone at state fair, or something. Like the song says, we live in two different worlds, and in MAGA world Donald Trump is the campy cult leader and everybody loves to party with him. But outside of MAGA world, he’s a total joke. The video you’re about to see are two world leaders mocking Trump and his recent visit to Paris for the reopening of Notre Dame cathedral.

The world community knows about this and they talk about it. Trump is persona non grata. People will tolerate him because of the position he holds, but it’s not the kind of a situation where lifelong friendships will be made and world leaders will be visiting Trump or inviting him to visit long after both parties have left office. That is not what is happening here.
He’s a buffoon. His body language is dominance and he wants to yank the other men around. Trump may think that Trudeau is a wimp and that is absolutely not the case. Trudeau is an accomplished boxer. Trudeau could put Fat Boy on his orange ass in a New York minute if he wanted to. Any of them could.
But they all smile — or grimace — and get through the occasion and then they laugh about it amongst themselves. And Trump doesn’t do this only to men. When he was in office the first time he did one of his *power shakes* on Brigitte Macron, the First Lady of France, and she’s a petite gal who probably weighs 110 pounds dripping wet. It was ridiculous.
But the Trumps are ridiculous. I don’t know how much Melania intends to contribute to the foreign scene but frankly I hope she stays home and babysits Barron. That’s kind of a strange scene in and of itself. Chelsea Clinton went to college at Stanford when her father was in the White House. Barron living in Trump Tower with mommy strikes me as a bit stifling. Barron, like everybody else, needs to stretch his wings and leave the nest at some point.
But then again, the Trumps have their own version of what is normal. We’re the laughing stock of the world once again, and the buffoon hasn’t even taken his oath of office. I wonder if the Trump baby blimp is still flyable? Or if the Chinese still have the giant inflated Trump chicken?
And who knows? We’re liable to see some other wonders cobbled together by the various imaginations of the peoples of the world as the Trumps return to trash the White House once more.
eh, they’ll just be part of the corruption I’m guessing, and they will fold just like our Congress. Europe has plenty of problems and will b wheelin & dealin with Trump et al, mark my words.
There are a lot of variables here. If Trump pulls out of NATO, I don’t see anybody kissing his ass. Why would they?
If tRump pulls the US out of NATO, I’m pretty sure Europe will close ranks against him.
Cherl, Europe’s already closing its ranks against Trump. European military and intelligence services have made plans to isolate Trump’s corrupt appointees from information sharing, knowing full well that any info shared will end up in the Kremlin. If Trump succeeds in withdrawing the US from NATO, its members are quite capable of maintaining European sovereignity against Putin on their own. That would include continued support for Ukraine, a NATO priority and a priority for anyone with enough of a brain to see the importance of doing so. Trump is going to be a catastrophe for the USA and the rest of the world knows it must protect itself from him.
