What the Mango Messiah tells his cult and what is actually going on are two wildly different things. Lindsey Graham compared Trump to P.T. Barnum. His exact comparison was Barnum, Jesse Helms and Ronald Reagan. I don’t see anything of Reagan in Trump, but definitely the racist Helms and the father of all con artists, P.T. Barnum, that’s Trump to a tee. Barnum famously said, “Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public.” And nobody ever went broke underestimating their ignorance, if not downright stupidity. Barnum, in fact, charged people “25 Cents To See The Egress” and people shelled it right out, thinking that The Egress must be some kind of wonderful animal or something. They found themselves shown the exit. Couldn’t sue Barnum. He promised an egress and people got an egress, by golly.
And MAGA, too, will find out what they have bought. The scam is that Trump, who could be out playing and enjoying his golden years, so loves America that he serves her for fun and for free. Not if you take a look at the books.

How I wanted the electorate to show Trump the egress this winter. Alas, it was not to be. If Trump got $1.7B just stumbling and bumbling last time and Jared got $2B from the Saudis (who are now building another Trump hotel, by the by) who knows what the numbers will be like this go round the maypole.
The 49.9% has shrunk about half a point. You see how close this was. And I am thinking that maybe there should be some kind of a law passed that prohibits third parties from running. I look at those Stein/Kennedy votes and I wonder how many of them would have gone to Kamala and ended this nightmare.
As close as elections are nowadays, I’m thinking that maybe we give people a binary choice and that’s it.
In any event, roll that number, $1.7B, around in your head. Then figure out what Musk and Ramaswamy and all the rest of them are going to do to multiply that figure ad infinitum. MAGA is asleep and trusting. That’s the mind set that gets fleeced. Unfortunately, we’re all in this boat together — as it heads towards the iceberg.

Honestly, I cannot believe the Greens went with Stein again, given her “coziness” with Putin and her utterly horrid track record as a Green. Surely the Greens can find someone better.
As for Kennedy, we did NOT need any “Democrats” who would have actually voted for him.
Maybe we could have where, if a candidate fails to reach a plurality, the top two compete in a run-off election. But the primary goal should be to eliminate the Electoral College.
Without that, fake electors wouldn’t be a thing.
