This is hitting the UPI and AP wires as we speak and people in other countries are gawking at this. I saw this and I couldn’t believe my eyes so I went looking around the internet to see what other people thought it was. Turns out that Matt Drudge has the exact same take on this that I do that Donald Trump is actually doing a pantomime of stroking and shall we say “deep throating” something? And no, he didn’t mention Arnold Palmer but something is going on with this guy. This is mental hospital-level behavior here.

We are already the laughing stock of the world and if this deranged POS gets back in, I don’t even want to speculate. But this columnist speculated. He thinks Trump is doing this to entertain himself.

There’s been a lot of talk about whether Trump’s disinhibition, which my colleague Ezra Klein so aptly analyzed, is proof that Trump is losing it. I think he’s just making the most of the duckling-imprinted fidelity of his MAGA base, turning up the heat — thumbing his nose at conventional standards of deportment — because conventions are boring.
I’m not even sure that turning a rally over to 40 minutes of swaying to music is a sign of disinhibition in the first place. It’s not some primal human urge that the rules of polite society are barely able to constrain. It’s just less boring than taking questions. This is extravagance — pushing the envelope, doing the unexpected. This is breaking the rules not because you’re too fogged up to understand them but because your past transgressions, however much they appalled the keepers of order, no longer give you the cheap thrills they used to.
This level of trite, barroom humor has no place in politics. But this is the best that the Republicans can offer up to America, three times in a row now. I don’t find this amusing as this columnist seems to. I quoted him because I think there is some truth to this, that Trump is entertaining himself and that’s what I see as the problem. Self. There is no civic consciousness here, only a completely selfish one. That’s why he must be defeated, so that normal statespeople can do a credible job and our government isn’t some low life burlesque show. It’s been some day for Trump. He’s gone from fantasizing violence against Liz Cheney to mock-fellating a microphone. I don’t even want to guess what the weekend will bring.
So that’s how he got the Peter Thiel money.

I love Sara Rose’s complete lack of irony in griping about “selectively edit[ed] propaganda clips” considering HER side has been doing that for decades. And the MAGAt fools (or is that “tools”?) fall for it every time. But when THEIR side gets the “treatment,” suddenly they don’t like it.)
What’s funny is that her “context” didn’t help. It was just more dialogue leading up to the stupid display. But it certainly didn’t excuse it.
