Puerto Ricans. Remember, Tuesday is Take Out The Trash Day   Post  MSG rally Puerto Rican meme

Man! Talk about the Law of Unintended Consequences. First The Pampers President helps engineer the GOP keeping a half century old promise that nobody took seriously, and now the largest single voting bloc in the country wants their hides nailed to the barn door. Then you decide to hold a turd studded spectacular in Madison Square Garden, and the comedy warm up act ends up lighting a Bonfire of the Vanities from the entire Hispanic community. What masterminds.

As we speak, there have been more than 60 million votes cast, and women are outperforming men in early voting 55-44. Somebody has a bee in their bonnet methinks. Abortion is a Top Two issue for the majority of women polled. So what does this have to do with the Senate? Maybe this;

  • In Michigan, Democratic congresswoman Elissa Slotkin is running for Debbie Stabenow’s empty Senate seat against a male opponent. The race is tight, with heavy early turnout, and now, at the last minute you have Traitor Tot saying he is going to protect women Whether they like it or not. Smooth move, Ex-Lax
  • In Wisconsin it’s incumbent Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin who is running against a carpetbagger GOP male opponent. Loke Slotkin Baldwin is being outspent on ads, but Trump’s sexist sludge is the kind of free advertising you can’t buy.
  • In Nevada it’s a twofer. Democratic incumbent Jacky Rosen is running for Senate against another carpetbagging, proud anti abortion male, AND there’s an abortion initiative on the ballot
  • Much the same in Arizona. Democratic congressman Ruben Gallego is running for Kyrsten Sinema’s vacant Senate seat against MAGA Froot-Loop Kari Lake, in another state with a pro abortion initiative on the ballot
  • In Florida GOP incumbent Rick Scott is running for his life against Democrat Debbie Mucarsel-Powell. An unpopular Senator, even at home, Scott is also fighting against a pro abortion initiative on the ballot
  • And in Ohio, embattled incumbent Sherrod Brown is running against GOP used car huckster Bernie Moreno. Moreno shot himself in the foot joking that women over 50 should have no opinion on abortion since they can’t make babies anymore, in yet another state with a pro abortion initiative on the ballot
  • And here’s a wild card for you. Blood red Nebraska has a GOP incumbent running a piss poor +2 against a female independent challenger. Do with it what you will, but just remember the Kansas pro abortion initiative vote after Roe was overturned

Getting the pattern here? All of those battleground states are +/-2, with heavy early voter turnout, some with pro choice initiatives on the ballot, and six days out Traitor Tot is telling women he’ll do what he wants for them whether they like it or not. That’s one way to Pump up da noyz for an election day turnout.

Now let’s throw in the Puerto Rico is a floating island of garbage bullsh*t. This thing has grown more legs than a centipede. That quote I put at the top is an actual Puerto Rican inspired meme that is taking off. Pretty much every Puerto Rican entertainer with a following has Trashed El Pendejo ex Presidente, from Ricky Martin to Nikki Jam, a male singer Trump labeled as hot at a rally, thinking he was a woman. Think it’s pure chance that Kamala Harris is rallying with J-Lo in Nevada tonight?

Every battleground state on the map has a Puerto Rican population large enough to be able to flip the results all by itself. And they’re not taking this kindly, Puerto Ricans hold two things dear, their state flag and their beloved island, and this slur is ripping the festering scab off of Traitor Tot’s Hurricane Maria response.

Just look at one state that shouldn’t even be a battleground state. Florida is home to more than 1 million registered Puerto Rican voters, and they’re mobilizing. Let’s see. More than a million Puerto Rican voters, an unpopular GOP incumbent, and a pro choice initiative on the ballot. No wonder Rick Scott dumped a blivet over Trump’s head about the jokes. Earlier, because we’re so close to election day, with so many votes in the can, there’s no way for the polling to catch up with the recent events. But consider this. Any one of these events could be counted on to have a negative effect on the Trump campaign, no matter how loyal his slobbering base is.

As I said previously, this close to the election there is no way for the polling to catch up to these recent events. But consider this. Any one of these would have a negative effect on the Trump campaign, no matter how loyal his slobbering base is. Now combine all three of these events together, in the last week of early voting, and a scant week from election day. Something’s gotta give.

I thank you for the privilege of your time.

  1. “And in Ohio, embattled incumbent Sherrod Brown is running against GOP used car huckster Bernie Moreno. Moreno shot himself in the foot joking that women over 50 should have no opinion on abortion since they can’t make babies anymore . . . .”

I’m curious. Did NO ONE explain to Moreno the absolute irony (not to mention hypocrisy) of his comment? Virtually every single one of these draconian anti-abortion laws was drafted, and overwhelmingly passed, by MALE legislators. Last time I checked, even the most anti-trans of them will agree that NO man (at least, not one assigned as such at birth) has ever gotten pregnant. So, by extension–according to Moreno’s own “thought” process–NO man should have an opinion on abortion since they can’t HAVE babies. (And, even though men are capable of producing sperm–which is pretty much the *only* part in “making babies” that men have–from puberty till death, the actual delivery process for that sperm into the lady’s baby-making parts tends to become less, um, less rigidly reliable as a man ages without artificial and usually chemically-based enhancements, maybe men really shouldn’t have any right to an opinion on abortion.)

    • Excellent points and well said. I have a news flash for Moreno and all those who think like him. Not everyone is only concerned about themselves in this world. A lot of us are concerned about kids and grands and the world they will live in.

  2. Great insight, as always. One note: Osborn in Nebraska is a male. I live in Nebraska, and fear that, in the end, the many uninformed rural voters will just vote along party lines despite Deb Fischer having done nothing for two terms and being the 8th least popular senator. Keeping my fingers crossed the women voters will get Osborn across the finish line. He’s run a great campaign.

    • Tell us more about Osborne given that you’re a Nebraskan. As an Independent does he tilt one way or the other? Control of the Senate was always going to be a tough thing for us so if Osborne win who he chooses to caucus with (and vote for when it comes to leadership) might well be the difference maker. From what I can tell he’s not saying. That worries me. What do you and others you know think?

      • Well, I suppose trying to get a sense of how a new politician would behave is a bit like trying to nail Jell-o to a tree, but from
the interviews I’ve listened to him give, he says he will be a person who looks at the issues individually. He’s a Navy veteran, so is appaled at Deb Fischer voting against initiatives, such as reparations for those who worked around toxic burn pits and got cancer. He was a steamfitter and Union president who organized strikes against Kellogg CEOs and stockholders who tried to suck up all the profit…so definitely pro-Labor. And he was able to work with Pete Ricketts and Don Bacon to resolve this issue on behalf of union members. Agriculture is huge in Nebraska obviously, and he talks the talk that is popular with Republican Nebraska voters when it comes to immigration and how are agricultural economy revolves atound that issue…though more resonant of Bush and Reagan than this extreme, fascist propaganda we have nowadays. He seems legitimately issues-based. And I am confident, from what he has said, that he full well understands the leverage he would have if he is elected. and wield it for Nebraska.

      • I received a fundraising text from his campaign & the last paragraph states the following:

“In Washington, I’ll be the 51st vote to stop a national abortion ban, the 51st vote to protect workers, and the 51st vote to finally get corporate money out of politics But I need your help to get there.”

        I sent him 10 bucks.
