What with many Democrats and celebrity donors trying to shiv the best President in a generation despite his economy hurtling along at a breakneck pace and election polling tied or within the margin of error after several weeks of relentless handwringing and mud slinging directed at him by the press, perhaps we all can momentarily stave off our resulting despondency by making fun of someone who is so easy to dislike – Ohio Senator and potential Trump VP pick J.D. Vance.
Although Right-wing columnist Ann Coulter most likely does not share in our displeasure in the savaging Biden is receiving from folks who should know better, she might just assent in our dislike of Vance, whom no one but a extreme MAGA Ohio voter could possibly love:
“Presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump has reportedly narrowed down his short list of possible running mates to Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio), Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Florida) and North Dakota GOV. Doug burgum.
Vance is the most overtly MAGA of those three, often echoing Trump’s America First rhetoric. But according to the conservative website The Bulwark, Vance may have a major obstacle to being chosen as Trump’s running mate: his beard.
Trump, The Bulwark reported, has a major aversion to facial hair.
Author and right-wing firebrand Ann Coulter humorously weighed in a July 11 post on X, formerly Twitter.
Posting a photo of Vance taken before he grew a beard, Coulter wrote, “And look at him WITHOUT the beard. Burqas and beards are good for some people.”
Looks like little Marco has the inside track for now, unless Trump goes afield for his VP pick, which may be a good idea given the choices he has lined up…
North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum has reportedly earned drumpf’s displeasure after the idiot who enabled abortion bans with his picks for the Supreme Court learned that he had signed such a measure in his home state…which clashes with said idiot’s current attempts to tack to the middle on the issue before facing voters.
And Vance, without his beard, looks like the any Junior High School’s pick for “Most likely to be swirled.”
So Rubio it is, I guess.
