A feature of right-wing media is that people act in haste and then repent at leisure. Charlie Kirk does this all the time. Kirk saw the mural in Atlanta that you’re looking at and jumped to the wrong conclusion that this was part of a widespread defense of Trump. Not in the least. It’s mocking Trump, which became evident once the message bubble was put in.

The top of the tweet is cut off but it says “Trump mugshot in Atlanta. The backfire continues.” It’s not backfire, it’s mockery, stupid. Now Twitter is not one, usually, for savage community notes, but in this case they were.
But maybe it’s time to make Charlie and the others happy and we should all start wearing MAGA hats. This MAGA hat.

And a new one may be out soon Many Asses Got Arrested. And maybe many more will.

John Bolton weighed in on the mugshot:
John Bolton, who served as national security advisor under Mr Trump, said the image was likely carefully staged. “I think it’s intended to be a sign of intimidation against the prosecutors and the judges,” he told CNN.
“He could’ve smiled. He could’ve looked benign,” Mr Bolton added. “Instead he looks like a thug.”
The mugshot seen round the world, as we knew it would be. We live in interesting times, folks. Interesting times.

I am not sure how his mugshot will intimidate anyone. It is laughable!
I sure hope somebody starts making these MAGA hats! I’m sure they would sell a lot of them…LOL!
