If you’re just now tuning in, the Lincoln Project has been busy doing what it does so well, which is show up Donald Trump as the loser that he is. They’ve put out a couple of videos in the past two days, and these pixellated arrows, shot into the airwaves, hit their mark, which is Trump. We know this because Trump went on Truth Social and in a screaming post told them what “perverts” and “misfits” they were. Quite a barb, that, coming from the king of maladjustment. That caused Rick Wilson to record a rebuttal, wherein he gently reminded Donald that he, in fact, was the one found liable in the civil rape trial of E. Jean Carroll.
Here’s what it all looks like. First, the ad(s) which got Trump boiling and the ketchup bottles roiling.

Now, personally, I think this next ad is the one that did it. Sean Hannity didn’t fight back for him. Gavin Newsom was there with the facts. Newsom made Trump look bad on Fox News while Hannity just sat there. THAT’S what I think is fueling Trump’s rage today.

Trump really should know better than to take on the Lincoln Project. Not only does he lose every time but he gives THEM visibility for things that otherwise might float around for a day or two and be forgotten. The jousting reference reminded me of the end of A Knight’s Tale when the a-hole dude had “tipped” his lances with a metal point to pierce armor (cheating – just like Trump) and the seriously inured character still went after him in one final joust and knocked him off his horse. Then they stand over his flat on his back defeated, wide eyed in disbelief he’d gotten his butt kicked in front of all those people self and repeated his own words back to him: “You have been weighed, you have been measured, and you have definitely been found wanting!”

“Holy” water had NOTHING to do with the Wicked Witch; in the film, Dorothy just grabs a (conveniently) handy bucket of water and tosses it on the Scarecrow’s burning arm and some of it just happens to splash on the Wicked Witch. It’s VAMPIRES that burn from holy water (and sunlight).
