Oh Duty, Honor, the Golf Course, well, Donald will probably have to stay off the golf course this weekend unless he really wants to look bad. If you haven’t heard, the nuptials of Donald Trump, Jr. and his fiance Bettina Anderson, are happening in the Bahamas this weekend. Daddy was invited but he evidently doesn’t want to go. Or maybe he couldn’t pay Melania enough to travel with him on Memorial Day weekend.
While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so. I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C., at the White House during this important period of time. Congratulations to Don and Bettina! President DONALD J. TRUMP
His love for all 330 million of us is so great that he can’t go watch his namesake son tie the knot. Does he think anybody is going to buy this? Meanwhile, look for Trump to find time for golfing this weekend. I would bet my bottom dollar on that.
And do you love it that he’s telling Junior he’s not RSVPing via a press release on Truth Social, rather than a phone call? Junior, fuggedaboutit, Daddy isn’t into you and he’s not going to be. It is what it is, to quote Trump pater familus.
Don Jr. has always seemed the scapegoat child to the narcissistic father. Eric is not much either. Yvana – oh hell yeah – she’s the golden child.
Why is Junior having his wedding in the Bahamas? Couldn’t he find a good *AMERICAN* venue to host the shindig/wingding?
As for Drumpf’s “decision” not to attend (in a foreign country full of “those” people), maybe an advisor/sycophant actually managed to get through Drumpf’s diseased mind the sense of BAD optics his attendance at the wedding would’ve made. He already stepped in it with his statement about not caring about the cost of gas for people (not even his own supporters–who, as expected, managed to find a way to not believe his own words) but to show up at Junior’s OVERSEAS wedding with all the incumbent security costs that would’ve been involved (and, let’s face it, I can almost imagine Junior’s relieved that Daddy won’t be there–I mean, all the guests have probably had to undergo security and background checks but double or triple that level with the pResidon’t in attendance . . . .), well, that would’ve made Melania’s little “coat” incident look like the height of care and understanding.
