It’s not surprising that it got to this in the House of Representatives today. Jim Jordan, apparently seeking to secure his next guest shot on Fox News, was suitably obnoxious to Dr. Fauci. Jordan seemed to be trying to outdo Tom Cotton’s abject rudeness to Dick Durbin in the Senate yesterday. If you missed that, it was merely Cotton shouting over one of Biden’s nominees and when Durbin asked him in a civil fashion if he could please let the nominee finish her comment, then Cotton turned on him and shouted. Leadership is being the loudest voice in the room, if you’re a Republican, apparently.
So being a cur is the watchword of the GOP these days and one who is not having it is Aunty Maxine Waters. Here’s the exchange, starting with Fauci.

This is the legacy of Trump. All of the Trumpist GOPers are trying to be his heir and that means being rude and obnoxious and showing up later that day or the following on Fox News to peacock about it.
To paraphrase a great gonzo journalist, Hunter S. Thompson, if there were any true justice, jimbo sodomy Jordan would be in the belly of a hammerhead shark headed south of Easter island.
“Leadership is being the loudest voice in the room” is exactly right, wnd we should try not to forget it. Because this and other techniques which appear pathetic to us do in fact look to Republican voters like leadership. And I don’t mean just Trump** voters.
May I invite everyone to look up a YouTube channel called “Innuendo Studios” which includes (amidst a lot of gaming stuff) a series called “The Alt-Right Playbook which does the best job I personally have ever seen of demonstrating how this happens. It’s not quite so clear on what to do to turn the narrative in favor of reality, but understanding the problem is certainly part way to solving it.
Loudest man in the room is always the weakest one. Anyone impressed by such is a child or dumb as rocks. And what’s left of Republican voters is neither numerous enough to want a piece of nor sane enough to want to spend with time with. And that’s before you get into the self-destructive way they’re handling COVID. Conclusion: who cares about ANY of them?
Tell that to your teachers and classmates. If they’re still speaking to you.
Here is an idea … have someone ask Jordon to let them have a look at his mask and when checking it closely, drip 3-4 drops of chloroform on it for super protection from Covid it would not completely stop him but his nap would be a godsend ….
What an annoying whine, very rude and crude, such disrespect for Dr. Fauci, then there is Cruz, blathering idiot attacking Dan Rather, who has more intelligence in one of his smallest fingers, and the lifetime of experience that exceeds anything Cruz can do or say … the GOP has finally slipped over that cliff … those left hanging on the edge by their bloodless finger tips, are exposing the sludge on the bottom of the GOP barrel … throw them all out with the wash water ….
Why is Maxine Waters even in that position to chair any committee. She blatantly is a racist and utters nothing but hatred towards any Republican right or wrong. Inciting voters to disrupt and call it all out war on opposition that does not align with her and her cronies . She is a disgrace.
