We could all see it coming. At least I saw it coming. Trump is the most selfish, egocentric man on the planet. Loyalty goes one way, and that’s to Trump. Just a light aside to start us off tonight. On Saturday Trump had a packed house for his rally in Waco, Texas. But according to reporters who actually suffered through the Trumper tantrum, after about the 45 minute mark, the crowd visibly thinned. Apparently Trump 2.0 comes with a tolerance level.

But in and of itself the rally was memorable. Because Trump laid down a marker, Trump established the outlines for his 2024 GOP primary campaign strategy, and he reestablished his control over the GOP at the expense of two of his greatest and most slavish supporters.

For starters the rally took place in Waco, Texas, widely viewed as the cradle of American far right anti government sentiment. And he held it there on the verge of the 30th anniversary of the Branch Davidian-FBI/ATF standoff that spawned modern far right anti government extremism. Waco is to the far right militias in America what the Beer Hall Putsch was to the Nazis.

And Trump played it to the bone. After taking the stage, Trump played the National Anthem as sung by a bunch of traitorous ass wipes called The J6 Prison Choir. And while the “choir” was massacring the National Anthem, and Traitor Tot was standing there intoning the Pledge of Allegiance with his hand over his heart, the jumbotron showed combat footage of the Capitol riot.

Fuck you Squeaker Cavein McCarthy. McCarthy and the House GOP has spent the last two years desperately trying to redefine history as the Capitol riot being a peaceful tour of the Capitol by peaceful protesters expressing their 1st Amendment rights. And then Glorious Bleater turns around and glorifies the carnage in his opening to the rally.

And Fuck you F*cker Carlson. Carlson has recently crawled through broken glass to find only the tamest snippets of Capitol riot footage to show that it was a totally peaceful protest, and then Trump repays the kindness by once again glorifying the violence of the Capitol riot. I guess that’s what you get for being caught typing that you passionately hate him, and that you can’t take much more of this!

But here’s the most important takeaway from the Saturday Waco rally, and I haven’t heard anybody else bring this up yet. McCarthy and the House GOP desperately want to make the Capitol riot disappear in the minds of voters before the 2024 election. And if they can’t make it disappear, than Carlson wants to make it disappear in a shroud of peaceful assembly bullshit.

But mark my words, FrankenTrump laid down a marker on Saturday night. Everybody else in the GOP realizes what a political landmine J6 is for the GOP, and they’ve done everything in their power to disarm that land mine. But Trump isn’t everybody else, and he doesn’t see it that way.

Remember Trump’s tough guy persona. Through out his entire political political career, Trump has been slavishly devoted to his more hardcore base, even in situations where it hurt both him and the party. Just recall the fine people on both sides gaffe following the Charlottesville riot. Trump is a firm believer in the old Chris Matthews mantra, You dance with the one who brung ya.

And that’s exactly what Trump is going to do. Without that maniacal base Trump is nothing. And remember this, it’s Trump’s most rabid base that was the point of the spear of the Capitol riot. And to those slobbering Trombies, the traitorous insurrectionists are American patriots, who answered the call of their President. And that’s exactly how Trump is going to play it throughout the campaign.

Trump will continue to glorify the traitors of the Capitol riot. He will continue to to use the same graphics and sound schlock he did in Waco for other rallies. And the rest of the GOP can kiss his ass, because he’s the King! And with DeSantis already folding up like an origami bird, I honestly don’t see anything, other than an orange jumpsuit that keeps Trump from the nomination. And that means a wholehearted GOP support for the January 6th insurrection. Don’t touch that dial.

  2. Seems to me that most, if not all, fascists/dictators/serial killers, never stop until they meet a terrible fate. Usually a bullet. Sometimes death row, or life in prison without the possibility of parole. Just as good.

  3. I’ve noted before that the very BEST thing the J6idiots could do is keep reminding us of it.

Please proceed. It can only remind everyone of how truly horrible they really are.

  4. Maybe I missed it but you would think that if this was a peaceful tour you would have all sorts of pictures with congress people. I know I get confused easily so that maybe it. I’m thinking that maybe that guy beating the police officer with a flag is just showing him a different way to fold it. I don’t know, it could be like that. And just before that girl got shot or maybe afterwards I can’t remember but they had that poor skinny cop in that doorway with people climbing on top the poor guy. Looked peaceful to me. Well I can see the sun starting to light up the sky. Probably a good time to go lay down. Till we meet again.
