Every now and then we have a bright light show up in the Democratic party. James Talarico is one of them. He makes abundant common sense when he talks about the real issues crippling this nation and it’s not Muslims or transgender athletes.

This is true. The transgender athletes didn’t put together DOGE or wreck Twitter or seek to buy judicial elections. The Muslims aren’t buying the mainstream media outlets. And the illegal aliens aren’t driving up the inflation.
I wish this candidate nothing but luck. It’s a hard row to hoe down in Texas if you’re a Democrat.
I’ve been listening to James Talarico for a while now, since before he became a political figure but was a plain-spoken liberal seminarian confronting the hypocrisy of rightwing pseudo Christians. He’s precisely what the Democratic party needs now: a cleancut young white legitimately Christian man with a Spanish surname who can speak to people all across the nation about their everyday concerns, while also understanding the broader issues facing the USA. No doubt the MAGAt loonies realise what a threat he can be, so I fear for his safety and hope his team is well aware of the dangers of telling truth to power in Trumpland.
He’s another far left looney fake Christian who’ll go nowhere in Texas.
