Donald Trump will go batshit when he sees this and he just might. A new video “Trump Is A Danger To Our Country” done by Republicans Voting Against Trump features two lifelong Republicans who are also residents of Oklahoma, and it’s set to air in Tulsa. The two Republicans, Carter and Nancy, go through a lovely photo montage where they explain how they think that it’s time to take back the Republican party, because representatives and senators are scared of Trump.
They go on further to explain why Trump is a danger to democracy and why they’re voting for Joe Biden and it is music to my ears. They praise Biden, they say, “he’ll surround himself with experts” which Trump never did “because he thinks he knows it all.” This is absolute symphony. Grab a brewski and enjoy. I could listen to this all night, what a shame it’s short.
Too, bad the Carter’s and Nancy’s are too stupid to just become Democrats.
My feeling at this point is be grateful for what we can get and if we can get these two doing ads like this and voting for Biden, I’m happy. I want Trump gone. It’s either get rid of him or America goes down the tubes.
True. It is just that I can get none of these people to ever explain why they are Republicans. The best I have gotten out of one is that Nancy Pelosi is a smarty pants. Of course every single one I know is a pathetic racist. Just hope we don’t take them into the fold and then they stab us in the back.

Most republicans so full of their own shit they squish when they walk. And most don’t really have a reason except for the odd one like you reference.
Usually it’s because their parents and grandparents were GOP voters, and they’ve drifted right without realizing how far they’ve gone.

I don’t expect everyone to be like us and agree with us on everything. I am grateful when someone recognizes something as simple as needing a president who relies on experts and doesn’t think he “knows more than the generals.”

No more so than the 93million who pissed on our dead soldiers by not voting, the 2million black folks who didn’t vote, the women who are ok that a belligerent drunkard/rapist sits on the supreme court, the idiots who voted for jill stein, the cretins who voted for Trump cuz they didn’t like hillary, etc. Hopefully these fools have smartened up, & realize either learn or perish. If they don’t see it by now then so be it. Death by pandemic, a foolish war, or global climate catastrophe…either way. The last hominid species reaches the end of the line.
I have never been a member of the Democratic party. I have never been a member of the Republican party either.
That only flies if you’re not a US citizen.

It is not about my independence. It is about the false assertion that if you oppose Trump, you are stupid if you don’t join the Democratic party. Partisanship has been a pernicious bane to the country, leading some members of both parties to allow the party to determine their opinions.
On both right wing and left wing forums, I have experienced that everyone can discuss a new topic with civility and open minds. As soon as the parties determine their respective party lines, previously reasonable people become hardened and illogical, and begin resorting to bad faith arguments and casting aspersions on anyone who will not fall in line.
PS: Independence is to be prized, not mocked.
