Tonight is a turning point in American history. Prior to tonight, it has been the creed of this nation that when we are at war, or about to go to war, all partisan differences fall to the side and we come together as one people. We are supposed to be, or aspire to be at least, one nation under God, and in times of turmoil anybody with decency or class commits to being an American first.

Tonight, a man with no decency and who doesn’t know the meaning of class, beyond a descriptor of a category of thing that can be bought for money, watched the drama in Eastern Europe unfold, as are we all. Then he picked up the phone and called his BFF Laura Ingraham at Fox News and cried about his own problems. No surprise here. Tragedy is unfolding, lives will be lost, but it’s all about Donald Trump.

I’m sure Vladimir Putin must get Fox News off of some transponder on some satellite somewhere and I’m sure he loved this.

Here are a few clips from the Ukrainian Ambassador’s discussions at the United Nations tonight. The Russian Ambassador speaks a line which is straight out of “1984.” He says, “This isn’t called a war, this is called a special military operation.” Oh. Well, that’s different. It would be tragic to be maimed or killed in a war but in a special military operation, that’s not so bad.

Here’s a gem from the Ukrainian ambassador.

Joe Biden says he will “hold Russia accountable.” Putin threatens a “complete rupture” of U.S.-Russia relations if Biden imposes sanctions.

Meanwhile, a 30-day state of emergency in Ukraine restricting the freedom of movement of conscripted reservists, curbing the media and imposing personal document checks, according to a draft text, has been imposed, says Reuters.

Also, the Ukrainian government has also announced compulsory military service for all men of fighting age.

This is what the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has to say.

And here in America we are divided and Donald Trump continues to defecate on our image in the world, just as his MAGAs defecated on the marble floors of the Capitol. I didn’t think I could hate him more than I already did, but I was wrong.
