It’s no secret that the mobsters who Rudy Giuliani put behind bars in another lifetime are laughing that he soon may be joining them on the other side of the iron bars.

Famed Mob Attorney Murray Richman told the NY Daily News that his clients are rejoicing over Rudy Giuliani’s RICO indictment: “Half these guys love Trump. They freaking love Trump. But all of them are almost unified in their position of hating fucking Rudy … They are fucking thrilled.”

John Gotti’s attorney Jeffrey Lichtman said, “All of my clients who had the misfortune of being prosecuted by him are laughing now. As am I. I am thrilled that Rudy will now experience what it feels like to be on the wrong end of a RICO prosecution.”

This is bad enough, but Rudy has himself penned in financially. Donald Trump, his alleged partner in crime, has a lot of money. Even if he’s not the billionaire he claims to be, he has plenty of MAGAs sending portions of the Social Security checks to him. Giuliani doesn’t have that.

As a matter of fact, Giuliani may be happy to accept the hospitality of the state because he’s forced to sell the roof over his head right now. Bess Levin, Vanity Fair:

As reasonable people can probably all agree, plotting to overturn the results of a free and fair election is an extremely bad idea from a moral, reputational, and legal perspective. (Have you heard? You might actually go to jail for it!) On a practical level, it also turns out to be a really bad idea to try and overturn an election if you don‘t have the deep pockets of, say, a former reality-TV show host whose supporters seem all too happy to foot legal bills. Like if you’re a former New York City mayor turned national embarrassment now best known for confusing a five-star hotel with a landscaping business of the same name and having no choice but to see it through, shaving in the middle of a restaurant, and accidentally appearing in a Sacha Baron Cohen movie with your hand down your pants, you should take a cold hard look at your finances, realize they probably can’t withstand the costs associated with an attempted coup, and call it a day. Rudy Giuliani, for one, knows what we’re talking about.

CNN reports that the mayor turned Trump attorney is “staring down hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal bills and sanctions amid numerous lawsuits in addition to the new criminal charges—related to his work for Donald Trump after the 2020 election.” How bad is the situation? So bad that in court on Monday, Giuliani said his legal situation has basically left him with no cash. So bad that in court on Wednesday, Adam Katz, at attorney for Giuliani said there “are a lot of bills that he’s not paying” as a result. So bad that he’s listed his Manhattan apartment for sale.* Is it so bad that he’s going to have to film more cigar and gold coin ads?

That remains to be seen, but it’s probably getting close! Speaking about Giuliani’s financial situation, this week Katz said the former mayor does not have the funds to produce records in voting technology company Smartmatic’s defamation lawsuit against Fox News and others, including Giuliani. Katz added that the apparent cash crunch is “very humbling for Mr. Giuliani.” On Wednesday, a judge gave Giuliani two weeks to come up with the money necessary to generate the records for Smartmatic; if he can’t, he’ll be forced to pay some of the company’s legal fees (which he presumably does not have the money to cover, either.)

John Gotti’s attorney is spot on, the wheel of karma is about to crush Rudy Giuliani. And the beat goes on.

Of course, the lawsuit from Smartmatic is not the only legal issue facing Giuliani. He’s also being sued for defamation by, among others, Dominion Voting Systems and Georgia election workers Shaye Moss and Ruby Freeman, who he has conceded he made false statements about concerning the 2020 election. Also, there are those pesky criminal charges, per CNN:

The criminal charges that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis brought against Trump, Giuliani and 17 others will undoubtedly add to the former mayor’s legal bills.

That prosecution is separate from the federal election subversion investigation that looms over Giuliani. He is “Co-conspirator 1” in special counsel Jack Smith’s indictment of Trump related to efforts to overturn the 2020 election. While he has not been indicted, prosecutors continue to investigate, including speaking with Giuliani’s ally, Bernie Kerik, about what Giuliani did to prove that Trump actually won the election, among other things, Kerik’s attorney told CNN.

Giuliani is also being sued by former employee Noelle Dunphy, who has accused him of “sexual assault and harassment, wage theft, and other misconduct,” and is seeking $10 million in damages. (Ted Goodman, a political adviser to Giuliani, disputed Dunphy’s claims to CBS News and insisted that “This was a consensual relationship.”)

Giuliani apparently intends to keep bullshitting until the very last. If you caught him on TV the other day, right after he was indicted in Georgia, his comment was, “This is a completely unjustified and disgusting act of retribution, as I had the temerity to unveil the biggest scandal in American history—and for that, my parents are proud of me, and I don’t give a damn about the rest.”

Giuliani’s parents are dead and I seriously doubt they would be proud of anything he’s done in the past 20 years or more. In any event, if you’re looking for an apartment in New York with French doors leading out to the terrace, and you don’t mind that the place stinks from cigar smoke, I’ve got the perfect place.

  1. It appears his butt is in the proverbial swing. Much like his cohort, trump, it’s everything, everywhere all at once for poor Rudy. Cue the tiniest violin.

  2. Well I was watching Morning Joe and they had Hunter Biden’s attorney on. They discussed the case and the merits of it. Of course they brought up their star witness who can’t testify because he’s on the run from the FBI for jumping bail. The GOP had it as the FBI sent a crew to interview him. Well the Democrats weren’t having any of it and let them have it. The FBI was there to pick up the clown and bring him back stateside to face charges. He was dealing with any number of countries that we have banned from doing business with. Awe yes selling guns and other military crap at the top of the list of nonos.
I think you get it. Now we have Hunter. Well first I’d like to throw the Trump spawn under the bus. Considering the laws against that let’s get to the heart of the matter. Basically the Trump kids are lazy good for nothing slimeballs. Eric got it together enough to run daddy’s business but barely. Now Ivanka has some business but she was busy with keeping daddy from nuking any country he didn’t like. And Don jr. is busy shooting animals that his guides crew let out of their cages so Dufus could shoot them.
Now we will contrast that for Hunter Biden. Hunter went to Georgetown University. He went to Yale Law School. Those are some fairly prestigious schools and you aren’t going to sleep through yogurt classes. When he graduated and went into business some of the places he worked. He was on the board of a bank, he was on the board of Amtrak, he was in a international law firm. Those are just a few places. I don’t know where the international firm comes in but Hunter helped start two law firms. As you can see there’s plenty of room fo whatever he did overseas. He got up off his ass and went out and worked hard and developed a working relationship with leaders of other countries. Of course if his last name wasn’t Biden he probably wouldn’t have made these connections. But he didn’t need Joes help either.
Take for example Ivanka Trump. She accompanied her daddy on a trip to China. While at a state dinner in their honor Xi or whatever you call him had someone hand her around 30 patents for goods manufactured in China. Now if she wasn’t sitting next to the most powerful person in the free world would she have got this honor. Probably not. Now she already had a handful of patents she had picked up from buying goods. She had what was being billed as exclusive items and she had bought the patents through buyers. But to receive 30 something for free. That’s gotta be an easy ten million. And probably a lot more. And all these clowns on the right are bitching about what Hunter was getting. It’s to difficult to explain but what Hunter was doing was creating jobs. That’s why he was getting millions. But also Hunter is smart and a hard worker. They will keep poking around and they will run into the Trump family trail of corruption. I would say they have already seen hit some and are, changing names to protect the innocent. As in I know Eric and Don jr. have been to Ukraine. And I do believe the little darling was over there with daddy. Yeah daddy would bring her along and have her wiggle around and show a little leg 🦵 so the clowns get all bent and they would sign anything. There you have it. My take on the Biden’s being smeared campaign. That is just wrong. Hunter has never been in government and or business with his dad. Then you have the Trumps that have been in the mud pit wrestling for who is on top which is a little kinky since they are related. Well maybe you wrestle for your pick of the spectators. That would be better but who knows. All daddy can talk about is his daughter in a non daddy way. And I seen a picture of her and daddy when she was fairly young. To young to be doing what she was doing but she was bent over rubbing her rear into the groin of daddy. Now myself, you do that to me with clothes on I gonna do the best I can to repeat that later with clothes off. Just a plain fact of life.
