This is a question that many are asking, yes, but the particular person asking it now will surprise you. Would you believe Alex Jones? Jones has turned on Trump lately as has Nick Fuentes, and Marjorie Taylor Greene and the best that I can make out of it all is that they’re both hell bent on a kind of purified MAGA that Trump isn’t delivering. Either that or they, too, recognize that he’s nuts and so far Greene is the only one to come out and say so.

Yes, Trump is threatening an extinction-level event for Iran. But Trump is fundamentally a coward and he may TACO out at the last minute. Do not be surprised if all his huffing and puffing comes down to another two-week kind of event, which we’re all too used to dealing with.
MAGA is determinied to continue post-Trump. Steve Bannon and Alex Jones have made that clear. These may be just the birth signs of what we’ll be facing in the future.
The question now becomes: will MAGA dominate the GOP without Trump? Is that the direction that Vance will go? Or will somebody attempt to resurrect some conservative values into this mess?
And further, how much damage will Trump do before he leaves office? We need to know that to make any real speculation and unfortunately it’s an unknowable quantity. The U.S. has two black eyes in the estimation of the world.
I think we (as in anyone not repub or MAGA) need to start drafting a plan now. There’s going to be so much government function that needs restoring or fixing. If we are smart, we will try and correct past wrongs and deficiencies. Like Biden said “build back better”.
that may be in the process of becoming the whole point for trump. burn it all down and let someone else try to clean it up. as for mr jones question, i don’t think the pertinent people are even considering it. except maybe vance. he has the most to gain and you can see it in his beady litrle eyes. as far as maga is concerned, i think anyone who isn’t already in it is ready to leave it behind.
MAGA without Trump doesn’t exist, it’s like 1939 nazism without Hitler. Without the figurehead there is nothing to rally around. They have no policy that does that. Their only discernable ethos appears to be ‘We’re going to be mean to them’, which loses much of it’s appeal when ‘them’ ends up including large numbers of ‘us’.
