So Agent Orange tried to re-open negotiations with Iran over its rapidly advancing nuclear program, and Iran told him, “It’s not working, so no.” They are not amenable to having discussions with the US about it. Now, in 2018, the United States pulled out of Tehran’s nuclear deal with world powers. WTF? What goes around, comes around, Trumpy. Ah, thanks, Wikipedia.

Last week, Israel published intelligence documents — long concealed by Iran — conclusively showing the Iranian regime and its history of pursuing nuclear weapons.” There we go. Took a little digging but worth it.
And the rebuttal: “Following Trump’s denial of the deal, the European Union’s foreign policy chief, Federica Mogherini, said the JCPOA was a firm decision and that no single country could break it. She proposed a “collective process” to preserve the deal, saying, “This deal is not a bilateral agreement … The international community, and the European Union with it, has clearly indicated that the deal is, and will, continue to be in place. French President Emmanuel Macron warned Trump not to withdraw from the deal, and told German magazine Der Spiegel that doing so “would open the Pandora’s box. There could be war.” The Global Times, a Chinese newspaper, wrote that America’s reputation as a major power would be undermined in the eyes of the world if it reneged on a deal simply because of a transition in government.
But anyhow, back to my original point. Iran wants nothing to do with us. And with the information from SignalGate, as well as the bombs dropped on the Houthis, is not going to make them amenable to talking. “We don’t avoid talks; it’s the breach of promises that has caused issues for us so far,” Pezeshkian said in televised remarks. “They must prove that they can build trust.” The White House offered no immediate reaction to the announcement. Gee, ya think? The Mango Mandarin lost on this one and doesn’t want to admit it. Zing! Now, as the US conducts intense airstrikes targeting the Iranian-backed Houthi rebels of Yemen, the risk of military action targeting Iran’s nuclear program remains on the table.
So this letter came from tRump as the US has warned that they will never let Iran have nuclear weapons. Israel has said the same thing. This may lead to a confrontation as Iran is increasingly enriching uranium to nearly weapons-grade levels. But they say their program is for peaceful purposes, although they are threatening to go into weapons. Still, I consider that a major threat. We don’t need them to have that kind of power. But with all this crap the US is doing I’m not surprised that they are pushing back. After all, we withdrew from the organization in 2018. The Mango Mandarin has no one to blame but himself.
This makes me nervous. Our country is sliding into hell as I write this. Iran flipped us the bird, and I can understand why, even knowing what they are doing. I would think there has to be a better way, but this is Traitor Tot we’re speaking about. If he gets us into a war, oh bloody hell.
