The drips and dregs of CPAC keep dribbling out, like a coffee maker that’s ripe for the dumpster, but I have to say that a few of these clips are starting to be scary. I honestly wonder if we’re losing America.

Yes, I know that “owning the libs” by means of shock value and being stupid is the order of the day. But at some point a line is crossed and it’s not funny any more; it’s just twisted and warped and you have to wonder about the children who are growing up seeing this and thinking it’s normal.

Here is how CPAC started. We have it on authority from Meidas Touch that this is not re-edited for effect. Nor is it intended as parody, I suspect.

I guess we don’t have the excuse that we weren’t warned, right?

And here are a few clips of the biggest moron in Congress. I’ve made a decision. The award goes to Lauren Boebert. First runner up is Marge, second runner up is the soon to be former Madison Cawthorn. Third runner up is Paul Gosar. Fourth runner up is Andy Biggs, with Thomas Massie and Jim Jordan coming up close on his heels.

Look at this stupid _____________ (fill in the blank. I’m not sure there’s a word for her.)

Let me explain why I am so vitriolic about this creature. She is doing this for show. Look at her little self satisfied smirk at the end. Ha ha, did I melt some snowflakes? Did I say the unacceptable?

The kids who went to juvie hall were like this. Seriously. This level of mouth and “mind” belongs in juvie hall but she’s in the halls of Congress instead. Hee hee titter titter, pwn the libs.

It was suggested that this had a World Wide Wrestling vibe about it.

I hope she’s gone after November. As I have remarked before, Colorado is my home state. I spent the first 26 years of my life there. If this woman represents Colorado, then it has gone down the toilet. Period. Full stop.

  1. She’s an example of this fame seeking, narcissistic, materialistic culture. Wonder when she last read a book other than comics.

    • Don’t insult comic books and graphic novels. They mix a heavy dose of political reality and truth along with superhero stories. X-Men in the 80s had a storyline concerning a,far right politician demanding the imprisonment and execution of mutants. Chris Claremont was an old acquaintance, and Jewish. Mutants were used as a metaphor for anyone daring to be different or disagree with the oppressive government. He was referring to Reagan, but it works even better with Trump and current Republicans.
Comics have always been political. Most of the original Marvel writers were Jewish men who knew about the Holocaust and Captain America’s first issue featured him.punching Hitler. They used metaphors but the ideas were always there. In the 70s, they dealt with domestic violence in a plot with the Wasp, who ran the Avenger for awhile. They asked what makes someone with Vision,an android who was frequently more human and self a sacrificing than many of the biological.humans. There were stories with a strong feminist theme ,and Ms.Marvel.featured a Muslim girl.from.Jersey, created by a Muslim woman. They have dealt with gay rights and gay marriage. Bluntly, they are and always have been progressive and dealt with controversial.issues.
Boebert isn’t smart enough for comic books and graphic novels, except maybe for the Archive and Little Lulu in the 1950s. I doubt she would grasp the themes woven into the MCU. Rs are more like D.C. with its over-the-top villains. She is the Harley Quinn of politics, with Fat Donnie as the Joker. McConnell is the Penguin. Pence is TwoFace.

Note: I wrote book.reviews for Marvel’s B&W Tomb of Dracula in 1980, so I admit to being prejudiced.

      • I agree that comc books (so-called), cartoons, and other forms of graphics are largely respectable, many are far more than just respectable. But you know she wouldn’t be reading that kind. Little Golden Books are more her speed.

And a bit off topic, but one of my pet peeves is the word “comprise” – which should never be used in the passive voice because it is already a passive – “to comprise” means “to be composed of.”

  2. How about look at this stupid. . . . Bimbo. Indicates stupidity, vapidity, an over-sexualized doll plaything. She likes to play up to men, wears too short and too tight clothes to reel them in, but she’s an empty-headed half wit with a vile mouth. She shows her ignorance and her rancid soul every time she opens her mouth. The last laugh will be on her when she gets left in the dust, her name soon forgotten since she never actually meant anything to anyone.
