Sean Hannity is between a rock and a hard place. He needs to nudge Donald Trump into the posture that the GOP and Fox News need to take now, which is that they never really were pro-Putin or anti-Ukraine. Hannity needs to start that pivot with, who else, the former guy. Only it doesn’t seem to be working out so well.
Hannity: What about Putin and all the other dictators in the world?
Trump: “I got along with these people. I got along with them well…I understood them. And perhaps they understood me. Maybe they understood me even better. That’s okay.”

Trump is the what, me worry? guy. He got along swell with everybody. If they want to go bomb out peoples’ homes, kill and maim civilians, orphan children, hey, that’s their business, right?
And Hannity’s desperation is so funny to watch. He’s giving Trump every possible cue that he can, bringing up Sun-Tzu, “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” And Trump still can’t pick it up.
If you can stand more, here is Trump rhapsodizing about that ridiculous podcast he did yesterday ranting about windmills when he when he was supposed to be discussing foreign policy and the war in Ukraine. Trump thought that show was a big success, evidently. The rest of us were howling, Twitter was cobbling together memes, but Trump thought it went well.

He’s probably thrilled that Putin invaded Ukraine, it gives him a chance to go on the air and feel like a big shot. Wars get big ratings. That is his level.

Can’t we send tRump to Ukraine to be used as a human shield? He says the Ruskies are afraid of him, so he has no worry being shot. Just seeing tRump they would put down their arms and retreat. They are so afraid of bloated orange orangutan.
I love the idea but Cadet Bone Spurs is already physically closer to Ukraine than he wants to be. Vietnam was considerably farther away and look at the lengths he went to in order to avoid winding up there!
