Pretend for a moment you live in a world where you’ve never heard the name Donald Trump. (Yes, it does feel like heaven, doesn’t it?) Then imagine that you hear of some middle aged guy with a big mouth and a lot of money. And he says things like, “Is it wrong to be more sexually attracted to your 13-year-old daughter than to your wife?” And he conducts beauty pageants, not just for adult women but for teenagers. And he brags about walking in on those teenagers when they’re in a state of undress. “I’m the pageant owner, I’m ‘inspecting.'” And then you hear that he’s BFFs with a guy whose girlfriend trafficks high school girls to him for “massages” and that’s only when he’s not on his private jet and flying to his island in the Bahamas, where all kinds of hijinks take place. And then you see this.

Now what would you think of the character of somebody like this? There is a discernable pattern, right? Right. And if the name involved wasn’t Trump, this would all be a slam dunk and there wouldn’t be any question about his culpability, not on all the facts that have stacked up.

This is certainly an interesting profile for anybody, let alone the Commander in Chief, right?

The Guardian:

The party aboard the Spirit of New York was one of several events that Donald Trump, then 45, attended with a group of 58 aspiring young models that September. They had travelled from around the world to compete in Elite’s Look of the Year competition, an annual event that had been running since 1983 and was already credited with launching the careers of Cindy Crawford, Helena Christensen and Stephanie Seymour. At stake was a life-changing prize: a $150,000 contract with the world’s then leading modelling agency, Elite Model Management, run by John Casablancas.

Trump was closely involved in Casablancas’s competition. In 1991, he was a headline sponsor, throwing open the Plaza, his lavish, chateau-style hotel overlooking Central Park, transforming it into the main venue and accommodating the young models. He was also one of its 10 judges.

In 1992, Trump hosted the competition again. On a similarly golden evening in early September that year, another group of contestants boarded the Spirit of New York, chartered for another Elite cruise. One of the girls on the boat was Shawna Lee, then a 14-year-old from a small town outside Toronto. She recalls how the contestants were encouraged to parade downstairs, one by one, and dance for Trump, Casablancas and others. Lee, an introverted teenager who loved to draw but hated school, was in New York for the first time. “A woman at the agency was pushing me,” she recalls. “I said to her, ‘I don’t see why me going down the stairs and dancing in front of those two has anything to do with me becoming a model. And she said, ‘No, you look great, take off your blazer and go and do it.’ So I walked down the stairs. I didn’t dance – I blew a kiss at them, spun around and walked away.”

Wow, shades of Salome, dancing for King Herod. Do you suppose that any one of these gals could have said, “Bring me Bill Clinton’s head on a platter,” and Trump would have arranged it? This is getting debached. And what’s funny is that Trump acts so guilty. He yells, screams, has his lawyers file lawsuits. But alas, I think it’s for naught. This Epstein matter has taken on Biblical proportions. It has a life of its own.

    • The true comedy here is that MAGA won’t back down. They want the Epstein client list. And this new dodge, to get the grand jury transcripts, might be amusing for a while. But what’s wanted is the information the Justice Department has.

      • Funny how Kash Patel is the “head” of the FBI and, theoretically, he should have complete and unfettered access to EVERY SINGLE FILE the FBI has.
So, why hasn’t he gotten more involved in releasing the files? I suppose it would probably help if he weren’t spending so much time “away from the office” so he could securely peruse the files (even if only at a field office). And I do imagine most of the agents–especially those responsible with keeping the *original* documents secure and in their original form–would be reluctant to leave such important documents completely unsupervised, even with “the boss.”

        • I have heard that Patel spends a lot of time in his Las Vegas home and works remotely. That is unheard of for a brand new director. That’s the gag, nobody in this administration really wants to do the job they have, they just want the title and the pomp.

  1. Historically Trump, is on record as being a participant in the mind, culture and action, of a sick sordid monster. Trump, now, has created another monster that he cannot rid himself of. Every time he protests so loudly, he simply feeds his own personal monster. That monster he has created also has lineage, based a sordid malodorous history. The more he tries to snuff it, the more it promotes and authenticates, and devours, his incredulous blabbering denials and indefensible position.

  2. People look at him now and ewwwwww. But they don’t realize all the sexual predator stuff happened when he was younger. It’s still ewwwwwww.
