If this doesn’t jog the GOP out of their stupor, I don’t know what will. The Congressional Gold Medal ceremony for January 6 police took place today in Washington, D.C.
Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy are part of the receiving line, as you will see.
You will also see the cops, and then later on members of their families, heartily shake hands with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and then ice both McConnell and McCarthy as they walk past them.

I don’t think the answer here is that the cops are all far-left liberal snowflakes. I think the answer is that the GOP behaved disgracefully in allowing Donald Trump to get away with murder. He should have been impeached after the Capitol riot. The fact that he was not obviously does not set well with the men and women in blue.
You would think that the handwriting is starting to appear on the wall, would you not? Three lost elections in a row, a probable defeat in Georgia later on today and this message from the law enforcement community?
Seems to me it’s a pattern. And what does the GOP concern itself with? Hunter Biden’s laptop and the posting of nude photos of him on Twitter.
Maybe the GOP isn’t tired of losing yet.
