If anybody needs to take Bob Dylan’s advice right now, it is Greg Abbott. This entire week was mishandled in the wake of the Uvalde tragedy. Granted, it’s always easy to play Monday morning quarterback, but you didn’t need a crystal ball to decide that the safe bet would have been to cancel the NRA convention in Houston.
That didn’t happen. The blatant disrespect stood. Then things got worse. Donald Trump fumbled with the names of the deceased and then danced off the stage. Now shock is turning to outrage in Uvalde.
