Just when you’ve found some warm sunnybeamz to nap in and you’re thinking Life is Good, someone somewhere does or says something negative like whining about something that isn’t even true. The Furkids have no patience for anyone who tries to bring them down like this. They’re into being lovable and spreading love; that’s their thing.
They’re impressed that the Electric Light Orchestra has a song dealing with this issue but noted that quite a lot of the words needed correcting (because hoomin songwriters often get the words wrong). After a lot of muttering and eye-rolling, they finally presented me with their amendments so I could complete the illustrated lyrics. I think they did a pretty good job. The dog on the house roof reminds me of a black lab a friend of mine had. We both lived in the same small apartment house. Before my friend would go to work he’d often open up the windows-one did not have a screen which was no big deal as it was a second floor apt. One day I got a call where I worked (for the municipality): one of the citizens of the town told me there was a dog on the roof of, gives an address-I realize it’s my address. I ride over there and the lab is on the roof howling and crying because he can’t remember how to get back inside. Poor Sky.
