As you are aware, Melania Trump celebrated her 54th birthday on April 26. Or at least that’s what we assume. We don’t know for a fact what she did nor would anybody particularly care, but for the unusual circumstances that her husband and father of her only child was on trial in Manhattan this week. And even though he could have flown her up or the two of them could have gone someplace together, Trump went from the courthouse down to Mar-a-Lago to whine about the trial and who knows what celebration Melania had?

What you’re about to see would have been the spot on perfect celebration for the two of them, if for no other reason than brutal honesty does have a way of clearing the air. Here, through the magic of AI, we bring you a refreshingly candid version of Donald Trump. Enjoy it, real life will never cough up anything this real, alas.

And for all we know, it may be in writing somewhere what the two of them do with others or expect that the other one will do. And again, we wouldn’t care except this is the couple looking to get back in our White House in January of 2025 and that is one nightmare we do not want to have. We remember 2017 all too well, and the final weeks of January, 2021. We have had enough.

Melania spends basically no time on the campaign trail but then again neither does Donald and he’s the candidate. If you add up all his rallies in the 18 months since he announced his candidacy, they come out to maybe once a week.

Here is Trump complaining on Melania’s birthday. That much did take place at Mar-a-Lago and did in fact get recorded.

And now fancy this: that was last night, right? And guess what showed up tonight (and I’m assuming that the story played first on Fox News, where Turley is a contributor?)

Must be a coincidence, right? Again I ask, are there any bookies here? Would somebody lay me the odds of this being coincidence?

If Trump gets back in, the world will be sufficiently crazy to where Jonathan Turley could become a supreme court justice. Hell, for that matter, Bill Barr might become Chief Justice. Anything is possible if Trump gets back in. Pigs will fly, we’ll need to build air traffic control towers for them in every city and Kimberly Guilfoyle can put lipstick on them, $60K for each makeup job.

Trump shows back up in court on Monday. He hates being there, we are told. And while you’re here, here’s the latest piece of right-wing insanity, hot off the presses.

the tweet ends, “real presidents, Trump the future Prez and Obama the unelected illegitimate one.” There are people who believe this madness. This is what over a quarter of a century of Fox News hath wrought. This is St. Reagan’s gift to us, the result of eliminating the Fairness Doctrine, so that any level of madness can be broadcast and we no longer have the automatic right of rebuttal or correction.

This is where the GOP has led us and where we are in 2024. May we survive.

  1. Funny how Root (apt name for him, I think) describes Stephanopoulos (the correct spelling, by the way) as a “biased Obama liberal” but he describes himself simply as a “Trump conservative.” Why do you think he didn’t describe himself as a “biased Trump conservative?” Isn’t he just as biased?
