And, Stacey Abrams knows what she is talking about, after all it was her work that led to the Georgia Democratic Senate victories two years ago that has made all the progress of the last two years possible, and also made V.P. Kamala Harris the undisputed Queen of casting Senate tiebreakers (she’ll overtake John Adams for the overall record with six more votes).
Here is Ms. Abrams:
"We know voting isn't magic — voting is medicine. And that we gotta keep taking it, and keep taking it to cure the ills that ail society."

More good stuff from the replies:
A vote a day keeps the fascists at bay.

It will take us all, Hoopla.
Your vote is your voice, and your voice is your human dignity.

Amen to that!
She gets is. Dem messaging this cycle needs to be “change and progress are hard. Not everyone’s going to get everything right away. But we have to keep moving the ball forward, and putting people in charge who are going to help lift you up, not hold you down.”

Yep
Voting can cure the republican plague…it makes them just go away. Far, far away.💙💙💙🤞🙏🙏🙏

Eradicate Elephantpox!
Georgia will not regret electing this candidate for their Governor and the rest of the country will be cheering them on.

Exactly.
It’s a lifetime commitment, not a one night stand.

Voting is like washing your hands. You must keep doing it in order to stem the flora of bacteria that can build up on your hands and make you sick. We must keep voting in order to stem the flora of Fascism that if left unchecked will flourish like bacteria on dirty hands.

Stacy I have heard this one several times before:
I don't vote because when I did nothing ever changes:
Response: If you don't vote this time your world is going to change and not for the better.
— Poppa no's better (@ceellix) August 7, 2022
Also, remember democracy is a compromise. No platform is ideal for everyone. It usually comes down to voting for the lesser ‘evil’. And evil could not be clearer in this coming election. EVERY vote helps. Please vote. We are at a tipping point that could go very badly.

Truth
Republicans just stripped $35 insulin from the bill (except for Medicare).
They're killing people to line the pockets of their donors.
I don't vote to take my medicine, I vote to give them theirs.

Amen. She has my vote.

So, let’s listen to Stacey and get everyone in our circles to take their medicine this November!
Maybe we can make some magic!

“Elephant Pox.” I love it! Voting is the vaccine and we need to “take our booster” EVERY single election to keep it at bay.
Ms. Abrams is not only intelligent, she is wise as all get out. I hope Georgians know just how lucky they are to have such a qualified candidate for the Governor’s election. I can tell them it can be much worse than even what they have –MT has greg “Noah was 600 years old when he built the ark and he didn’t have social security” gianforte. It is as bad or worse than you could possibly imagine.
Here’s to hoping GA does what’s right for GA and make this phenomenal woman their Governor.
THAT’S why I trust the word of my fellow writer Ms. Abrams over most of the more belligerent loudmouths on our side. She gets how things work and acts accordingly. My mom was always worried that my love for fantastique fiction would cloud my sense of reality. Ironically, it’s just such love that has allowed me to figure out when people are overpromising. I wonder if Ms. Abrams (and hopefully soon GOVERNOR Abrams) has just such a processing model.
She’s a national hero. If a 68 year old white man from the mts of NC can say that, the rest of you should get on board. It’s a fact.
vote blue in 2022!
Always enjoy ur pics!
