This is undoubtedly how these things start out, each and every time. This is a very short video, you may have seen it already. I post it because it shows you how things are mundane, and then pmmp pmmp pmmp come the shots and people begin to realize what is happening.

I put the disclaimer up front, this is an unverified video from Twitter at this time.

You notice the fast reactions, the relative calm. This generation is used to this. It’s a horrible observation to make, but it’s true.

This one is running on Dallas media outlets and in the Dallas Morning News.

The suspect in the shooting, 18-year-old Timothy George Simpkins, was arrested Wednesday afternoon.

I can say from having been educated in the public school system, these things happen. I have seen fist fights. But I never saw anybody reach for a gun.

And as a last note, Ted Cruz was asked to weigh in on this newest tragedy, gave his usual weak tea, scripted spiel and then immediately segued to Joe Biden’s border policy, while the cameras were running. Cruz may be physically present in Texas and Washington, but he is in no way attuned with this issue.

Don’t take my word, see for yourself.

Spot on putdown. This is who Cruz is.
