Wisconsin is a crucial state for Donald Trump to win in November and Joe Biden was just there trolling yesterday. If Foxconn isn’t ringing any bells, it was another con of Donald Trump’s, a yuge facility that was to be built and a major employer. What resulted instead was very watered down. In pure Trumpian fashion, the hype was in one universe, reality in another.
Biden traveled to Racine, Wis., to announce Microsoft would invest $3.3 billion to build a new artificial intelligence data center at the same site of the Foxconn project that did not develop as promised.
Biden invoked former President Trump’s visit to Wisconsin in 2018 in which he predicted the Foxconn campus would be the “eighth wonder of the world” and used a golden shovel for the ceremonial groundbreaking.
“Are you kidding me? Look what happened,” Biden said. “They dug a hole with those golden shovels, and then they fell into it.”
“They did shovel some dirt,” the president continued. “One hundred homes were bulldozed. They wasted hundreds of millions of dollars of your state and local tax dollars to promise a project that never happened. Foxconn turned out to be just that, a con. Go figure.”
Technology giant Foxconn announced in 2017 it had planned to invest $10 billion in a facility that would create thousands of jobs. The project was hailed as a major win for the Trump administration at the time but never materialized.
The investment was eventually scaled back to less than $700 million, and the number of jobs created from the project was slashed from 13,000 to roughly 1,500.
Charlie Sykes kicked in his two cents. He’s in Wisconsin and assures us all that Wisconsinites well remember this fiasco and it was spot on of Biden to troll Trump as he did. Sykes also doesn’t think that the hush money trial is going to roll off voters’ backs as Trump seems to believe it will.
As usual, we have dueling realities. What Sykes is saying here makes perfect sense but don’t be surprised if you see a poll on how Trump is simply crushing it, like the New York trial doesn’t exist.
Many of our institutions took a massive hit when Donald Trump came on the scene but the business of scientific polling is simply off the charts. You well remember how Hillary had a 96% chance of winning, by some measures. Now, we’re in the same boat again, only this time Trump is five to ten points ahead in many places.
The antidote for this? GOTV. Get Out The Vote. That’s the only way America stays a democracy.

Since his incredibly well-documented actions that day, even his reluctance to stop the chaos, until people were actually killed in defense of our Capitol …
Also, this extension of his trial date by an unqualified Judge SHOULD be re-established by a higher court … And SHE should be released from her position as a incompetent Judge …

I must disagree most strongly with this statement. It is just not true.
We have only one reality, it is our world shared by us all.
What we have are dueling NARRATIVES of what our reality is.
One of these narratives is based on truth, facts, and actual reality, the other is based on lies, spin, and fantasy.
You mean ‘alternative facts’ really just means alternative beliefs based on bullshit you want to believe? Imagine that!
