Mike Pence is a fan boy, first and foremost. He dreams at night of being Dick Cheney, but he knows deep down he’s too stupid and not nearly as avaricious. And then he has dreams of being Ronald Reagan, and those make him wet the bed. In his more sober moments, he thinks, well, maybe he could be the Second Coming of Dubya. Hell of an ambition, that. But Pence has gotten as far as Pence is going to go, playing straight man to the worst president in the history of this country — if not the world. And deep down, he knows it.
So enjoy watching Mike Pence attempt a Jedi mind trick to convince us all how terrible it’s going to be in Joe Biden’s America. And how lucky you are to live in what’s going on today? We guess? Has Mike Pence looked out the window lately? Maybe Mother won’t let him, because she doesn’t want him to have nightmares. We understand.
Back in the day, if, given the realities all around us, pence walked in2 my psychiatric hospital, he would be placed under involuntary commitment for being delusional & a danger to himself & others. Instead, Qtip stands in the corner looking as if he hadn’t taken a shit in years, while the toddler from Children of the Damned tries to create hell on earth.
Trump is playing the fear mongering card. What is different this time, though, is he’s the incumbent. I’m not sure demonizing Uncle Joe is going to work like it did with Hillary. Personally, I don’t see it. Joe is not Hillary. Plus, Trump has totally effed up the coronavirus response and I can’t see him walking away from that easily. Unless I’m wrong, people will still be dying on Election Day. How do you spin that as a win? Say, “Well, at least some of you are alive?” That’s about what he’s got to go on.
We’ve already seen how this maladministration treats protesters. Pence didn’t do anything to stop that. We’ll be much safer with Joe as president.
Couldn’t you say that for the 85% of Republicans that support Trump.
