This is getting beyond bat$hit. We all keep wondering how long this stalemate in the House is going to go on and there is not only no simple solution, and no end in sight, it just keeps getting crazier and crazier. Here is Ken Buck, who’s burning up the airwaves this morning, with a comment that would be frankly hilarious if the entire situation in Congress wasn’t so dark. This is straight out of Idiocracy.

“No, I hate Tom Emmer and I hate Jim Jordan, too, but I hate Emmer less. And no, there’s nobody I don’t hate so don’t ask me that.”Â
It sincerely is the battle of the worse vs. the worst worse. Simply incredible. Here is an epic comment from Kevin McCarthy that is so off the walls that even a Fox News reporter pushes back. This is classic.

“See, if the Democrats hadn’t thrown me out of office, along with the Republicans, then I’d still be Speaker and we wouldn’t be here. The Democrats are supposed to do the right thing for their party and ours, because we’re so totally phuqued, and if they don’t, then it’s all their fault. Don’t you get it?”
And Fox News is not having such a great day airing this idiocy.

And the beating goes on. The House is now in recess, at least until the Honorable Patrick McHenry calls the honorable body back into session. Meanwhile, let’s all go get an icepack and lie down. This is only going to get worse.
And yes, our government still runs out of money in a few weeks and our allies fighting wars still need aid. But don’t bother the Republicans with that, they’re still stuck in middle school tactics and they can’t grow up and take care of adult business.

Ha! Ken Buck is right in saying Speaker is a horrible job (under Republicans) and even “Mike Rowe wouldn’t wanna do this job.” Of course Rowe wouldn’t wanna! His show “Dirty Jobs” is about willingness to crawl in muck, if necessary, to explore real jobs that add value to the economy and provide products and services that benefit the American people!! The Republican House could never make the cut!!
