Donald Trump loves to spout the excuse “fake news” about anything he doesn’t like, but unfortunately, so much of what he has said is on video tape — and he’s consistent in his themes. He’s obviously jealous of and intimidated by courage and heroism, because these are not qualities one develops at the discos or the bankruptcy courts. Being unable to emulate, Trump castigates. He feels unworthy, so he lashes out like a child.

His shock jock put downs are out of place anywhere, but nowhere so much as when speaking derisively of the sacrifice of America’s men and women in uniform.
