It’s the nature of the grotesque that you have to look at it, that it’s difficult to look away. The MAGAs know this and they crave attention so badly that if the only way they can get it is by behaving disgracefully in public, then so be it. That’s what they’ll do. Apparently being a pariah among pariahs is preferable to being a decent citizen, because simple decency is an unsung virtue.

It’s school yard bully fare, made possible only by having had the lowest common denominator in this country assume a role of leadership in the White House for four years. This is Trump’s legacy, right here. He may delude himself that the invention of life saving vaccines is his contribution to our culture, what he’ll be remembered for. No, this is.

I recognize these voices and I’m sure you do, too. These are the school yard bullies. Back when we were all children the argument was precisely that, that we were children and children can be cruel. Yes they can. But some people never grow up and that is who Mango Mussolini appeals to. He is the Pied Piper of the ne’er do wells, which is a different thing from being the advocate for the underdog.
The underdog, someone who is disadvantaged for whatever reason but who desires to excel, needs an advocate to get from point A to point B. The ne’er do wells have no desire to do anything besides destroy.
They sense a kindred spirit in Trump. He’s immature, unlearned, impulsive and seeks to rule rather than get along, as they do. The sublime irony is that he looks down on his followers. Trump wants no commerce with low lifes. If these MAGAs think he’s their man, he’ll come to their aid, how many more disappointments do they need? There are people languishing in jails right now, as we speak, who are there because they stormed the Capitol with Trump’s blessing, at his direction, and they thought that he would bail them out and/or pardon them.
These people are hollow vessels and they have zero self respect. They resemble Mango Mussolini in those regards as well. I feel sorry for anybody whose life is so devoid of value that the highest purpose they can attain is to make a public spectacle of oneself. On the other hand, we can’t turn a blind eye to this behavior, either. This kind of behavior erodes our most basic institutions.
Starting a row in the streets outside of the funeral of Nevada’s great statesman, insulting the only black county commissioner in racist terms and waving a Confederate flag are things that you didn’t see regularly prior to Trump’s election in 2016, when the Ku Klux Klan marched in the streets and fascists gave the Nazi salute at a meeting in Washington, D.C. Hate crimes spiked upon Trump’s election.
As you know, the prognosis for this country lies in this midterm election and in 2024. When we see where we are after those milestones, we’ll get a better picture of who America really is.
This is a segment of fools that have always been here. Like all of the other trumpers, they just feel emboldened to say this crap out loud now.
Yes these idiots have always been there, but the republiQanons have created more of them via the erosion of public education and propaganda outlets like Faux News and talk radio. And while I would not wish Covid on anyone, I have run out of empathy and sympathy for those who stupidly choose to believe the anti-mask and anti-vaccine propaganda, and don’t get vaccinated. So far, the few anti-vaxxers that I have talked to (I have never had much tolerance for stupidity) will not listen and remain stupidly and stubbornly determined to NEVER change their minds!
It’s easier to rant than think for urself. Irony is lost on these reptilian brains as THEY blindly support the 1%(trump’s peers), & inherit policies that screw them, us, & all the children on this planet. In that last video the woman speaking actually spoke the truth about one thing. She said all they want is ‘full control’.
