I would say with respect to most things, if you’ve seen one you’ve seen them all, but not Trump rallies. No, those are not fungible goods. Each rally is unique. It’s amazing how increasingly stupid and out of touch with reality the MAGAS are. Reality is a bitter pill to swallow for a lot of folks. At least, that’s the only thing that you can conclude when you listen to this.

Here we are in Anchorage, Alaska. It’s 66 degrees there and people are wearing shirt sleeves. In the desert I live in, 66 is sweatshirt weather. Different strokes.

The holy have gathered and here’s what they have to say. This first guy is a doozy.

Yes, he is a “dream” a waking nightmare, to be precise. I recall feeling that way, in any event, when i woke up in the late morning of November 9, 2016 with a terrible headache and realized that yes, Trump had been elected president, it wasn’t just a bad dream. It was in fact the worst kind of dream, when an awful, unthinkable alternative became the new reality we had to live with.

Now this next clip is truly a tutorial in conspiracy theory. Better go get your tinfoil hats, otherwise this won’t make sense.

Do QR codes kill people? Dunno, but I looked up QR Codes and Kill and here is what I got.

I then Googled Nesara. Here’s what came up.

National Economic Security and Recovery Act (NESARA) was a set of proposed economic reforms for the United States suggested during the 1990s by Harvey Francis Barnard. Barnard claimed that the proposals, which included replacing the income tax with a national sales tax, abolishing compound interest on secured loans, and returning to a bimetallic currency, would result in 0% inflation and a more stable economy. The proposals were never introduced before Congress.

NESARA has since become better known as the subject of a cult-like conspiracy theory promoted by Shaini Candace Goodwin, also known as “Dove of Oneness”, who claimed that the act was actually passed with additional provisions as the National Economic Security and Reformation Act, and then suppressed by the George W. Bush administration and the Supreme Court. Goodwin’s conspiracy emails have been translated into several languages and have a large following online.[1]

Now I’m not sure why anybody in Alaska is worried about the southern border, but again, I’m not following a lot of these peoples’ “logic” on any topic.

Now if you thought that was a batshit clip, here is BatshitMan himself, Mike Lindell. It’s not a flying leap down the rabbit hole unless Mikey is on board.

He’ll come before the “little committee” with his little mind and stack evidence floor to ceiling. Righto. Duly noted. Next.

That said, the conspiracy theorists love Mike.

Maybe they’ll all trickle in in the last minute. What’s that they say about Broadway, the house doubles in the last 15 minutes before show time?

Not at all sure what the guys in green are about. Maybe Trump doesn’t feel safe with just the Secret Service anymore? Maybe these guys will take him wherever he wants to go and not argue? I have no idea.

We’ll see where this goes from here. Trump is supposed to hit the stage in two and half hours. It is 2:30 PT at the time of this writing.

  2. Thirty years ago (back when I worked in conservation) I Keynoted the annual Hunter Education Conference up there. Although Anchorage is on Cook Inlet I was surprised that despite it being February I didn’t feel anywhere near as cold as I’d felt when I spent a few days (also in Feb.) in Portland Maine a few years earlier. My travel and hotel expenses were covered by the conference host but as I often did back then I’d stay extra days on my own dime to be able to do some real exploring in places so many never get to see. Another speaker who I’d gotten to know (at other conferences) did the same and the conference host took a few days off work himself to show us around. I could write a small book about the trip and some of those experiences (it was quite special) but what I wanted to mention was a frequently heard term during my visit regarding those not from Alaska. They referred to us as from “Outside.” And frankly that’s how they saw us as people. There are many up there who don’t consider Alaska as part of the U.S. They don’t exactly dislike us and sure as hell would SCREAM if we pulled out our military and left them at the mercy of Russia (or China) deciding they wanted the place. And they sure as hell like those federal dollars – remember the infamous Bridge to Nowhere from the 2008 campaign? Basically, when it comes to the rest of the United States the general feeling I got (and I think it’s still that way) is a take our money/protection with one hand and punch us in the face with the other.

    “Outside?” I wouldn’t be so sure that by southern border that gal didn’t mean the southern border of Alaska! Yes, part of Canada sits between it and the continental U.S. but that’s still too close for many Alaskans!

  3. I would have thought that they’d be more worried about their western border – after all the distance between Little Diomede island (Alaska) and Big Diomede island (Siberia) is all of 2.4 miles.

    But then Vladimir is BFF with the Donald (who would probably hand the whole place over to Russia if asked)

  4. Its a good thing that fat ass cannot trust the secret service, thus being forced to rely on low iq, shrivelled balls steriod addicts dressed in green to protect him. Who paid for the tsa and the other taxpayer funded agencies to secure that dump anyway? We know fat ass never pays his bills, common with all republiCLOWNs, and fat ass isnt running for office.
    I have also spent time in Alaska. We just saw the entire Alaska gop at that farce.
