“It’s nice to be important but it’s important to be nice.” Shall we embroider a pillow, friends, and send that to the congressmember from Colorado’s third district? Because if anybody needs to learn basic manners, it is this tacky broad. Lauren Boebert is drunk with power and abuses privileges which she does not deserve to have. She’s a perfect example of what can go wrong in a democracy, especially in the age of television. She rode Trump’s populist coattails into office with her big mouth and her good looks and that’s what she brings to the table. She believes that, and tweeting right-wing idiocy, is enough. And so far it has been. She got elected with that in the first place, then squeaked through to reelection with 500 votes to spare.
Here’s the video of her getting thrown out. It’s set to go to the very end, of her actually departing the building but you want to replay it and watch the entire debacle. I think that her rebuking the guy in the lobby, finger pointing accusingly, is the best part. She’s clearly in the wrong but she’s going to do a power trip on the authority figure in the theater.
According to the Denver Post, Bobo was “vaping, singing, recording and ‘causing a disturbance’ during the performance.” This is so low class. People pay good money for theater tickets. And of course she couldn’t leave quietly. Throughout the altercation with security, Boebert said things like “do you know who I am,” “I am on the board” and “I will be contacting the mayor.’ ” Like the mayor of Denver is going to sanction this. Mike Johnston is a Democrat and a graduate of Yale Law School, and he’s going to come to her rescue. Oh my ears and whiskers. And I’m willing to bet she doesn’t even know who is the Mayor of Denver.
“They told me they would not leave. I told them that they need to leave the theater and if they do not, they will be trespassing,” one of the theater’s ushers reported to the Post. “The patrons said they would not leave. I told them I would (be) going to get Denver Police. They said go get them.”
You see the unfettered hubris here. Boebert is not only a dignitary, in her mind, she’s a goddess. The other patrons and the theater management are supposed to accommodate her behavior, good or bad. She’s the star of the show, not the people on stage. The entire performance is for her and about her. I find it miraculous that she can carry on life this way but then we saw Madison Cawthorn do the exact same thing. And we also saw where it got him, didn’t we?
And here’s her response. “It’s true, I did thoroughly enjoy the AMAZING Beetlejuice at the Buell Theatre and I plead guilty to laughing and singing too loud!” she tweeted Tuesday night. “Everyone should go see it if you get the chance this week and please let me know how it ends!”
Ha ha, it’s all a laugh. But do you want to know what’s really a laugh? Politico dropped a piece today, “Lauren Boebert Ditches the MAGA Thing In Colorado.” This is access-journalism at its finest. Politico is fluffing Boebert so they can get quotes from her. Maybe she was out celebrating the Politico article last night. The article is ridiculous. Bobert has not come to her senses because of her seat in danger, she’s the same trash she’s always been. She proved that again last night.
Is it just me or does her dress seem more appropriate for a Porn Awards Show that the theater? It was so low cut she kept having to hitch it up to keep her boobs from flopping out! Really classy Bobo.

Bobo behaves like a two-bit entitled spoilt snot. Theatre staff did an excellent ‘snite’ in winkling the disruptive snot out of theatre seat, where upon experienced streetwalker skills and behaviours were clearly revealed.

That even her district had to know in 2018 that Boebert was the epitome of low-rent white trash, that she found an extra 500 voters still willing to send he back to DC leaves me agog. But then, maybe they were more focused on keeping her the hell out of Colorado. Didn’t work, sadly, for the rest of us.
I would love to see the results of a blood alcohol.test. That level of belligerence is often the result of excess drinking combined with a belief that their status allows them to do whatever they want.
