It’s been a while since I’ve written about Marjorie Taylor Greene and it seems like she hasn’t gotten any smarter in the interim. This time around she’s receiving a good brow-beating for promoting a demonstrably false claim that is historically and biblically inaccurate and anti-Semitic, all while declaring anti-Semitism is wrong, according to The New Civil Rights Movement.
Yeah, that would be Marge.
The House voted Wednesday on an anti-Semitism bill that requires the U.S. Department of Education to utilize a particular definition of anti-Semitism when it enforces anti-discrimination laws, and that’s when Miss “can’t walk and chew gum at the same time” spoke up — on social media.
“antisemitism is wrong, but i will not be voting for the antisemitism awareness act of 2023 (h.r. 6090) today that could convict christians of antisemitism for believing the gospel that says jesus was handed over to herod to be crucified by the jews,” greene posted to x.
I’m going to note right here that I’m glad John Fugelsang sets a few things straight.

The House is working on a bill that codifies the definition of antisemitism as it was created by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance.
Rep. Greene (R-Ga.) highlighted a specific section of text that she said she opposes: “Using the symbols and images associated with classic antisemitism (e.g., claims of Jews killing Jesus or blood libel) to characterize Israel or Israelis.”
Greene promotes something that’s called “Jewish decide,” a false and antisemitic claim that Jews killed Jesus. There are still far too many people who still believe this. These people also believe all Jews throughout time, even now, are responsible for Christ’s crucifixion.
I attended a Seventh-Day Adventist school for three years and teachers never missed an opportunity to tell everyone that the Jews killed Christ. I’m glad that over time, this is being discounted, but that sure isn’t happening on account of Greene.
This woman has a history of promoting antisemitism. As the coronavirus pandemic raged, Greene compared mask mandates to “gas chambers in Nazi Germany.”

“not surprising,” declared jacob n. kornbluh, the senior political reporter at the Forward. “rep. marjorie taylor greene, who has been accused in the past of making antisemitic remarks — including her suggestion that a jewish-funded space laser had sparked wildfires in california in 2018, voted against the Gop-led antisemitism awareness act.”
Award-winning journalist Ron Kampeas, Jewish Telegraphic Agency Washington Bureau Chief, delved deeper into Greene’s remarks.
“okay, leave aside the snark. the obvious antisemitism is in saying ‘the jews’ crucified jesus when even according to the text she believes in it was a few leaders in a subset of a contemporary jewish community. it is collective blame, the most obvious of bigotries.”
“The text she presumably predicates her case on, the new testament,” kampeas said, “was when it collated a political document at a time when christians and jews were competing for adherents and when it would have been plainly dangerous to blame Rome for the murder of god.”
I’m beginning to think that if anyone were to measure Greene’s IQ, it would be in negative numbers. I think she takes everything literally, with little question. I mean, she spouts QAnon conspiracy theories all the time. As she continues in her efforts to oust House Speaker Mike Johnson, she’s become almost shrill sounding.
This is not a smart woman. She quotes QAnon theories, some of which are dangerous, as CNN noted in 2021. She insistently supported political violence and the execution of top Democrats and FBI agents. She regularly indicated support for executing top-level Democratic politicians — then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, former President Barack Obama, and John Kerry. She also advocated for the execution of FBI agents in 2018 and 2019 before she was elected to Congress.
Referring to Pelosi, she’s also posted things like this:

It’s a pretty sad commentary on Republicans in general that this woman walks the halls of Congress and is taken seriously. When she really should be taken to a mental hospital.

Here is another, older Neanderthal woman who scientists have reconstructed her appearance……..still, that same resemblance. It would explain quite a bit……the only difference is the reconstructed Neanderthal is smiling….unlike Margie…….

Have I got this right? The very person who said Jewish Space Lasers set forest fires is now commenting on what constitutes anti-semitism by other people, and that it’s bad, while making, AT THE SAME TIME, another anti-semitic statement.
The rabbi asks Kooky Pants if she understands the distinction. Unless I’m missing something, Kooky believes wild fires are started by Jewish space lasers f.f.s. Does she believe the earth is flat? Probably-her take on so much of science is appalling.
Like bobo and rojo, nobody will ever say “and the great Marjorie Taylor-Green said…” I would be shocked if she even warranted an extremely minute footnote in a very abridged history book. It’s said she has a bachelor’s degree. From what cracker school? Although even one of those fake colleges (liberty, etc.) would be embarrassed by her ignorance.

It would be kind of hard for the Jewish students for Palestine and against netanyahu to explain their anti-semitism, no less so for those Holocaust survivors also protesting the Netanyahu genocide. Margie is an evangelical Christian. They support Israel’s right to.exist so the End Times can come. Once that happens, 144,000 Jews will convert to Christianity, and the rest will.go to hell. Thus to.them it makes sense to love Israel while hating Jews.
P.S. Supporting Israel’s existence and its right to.defend itself does not mean you cannot criticize Netanyahu or Israeli policy.
