Man, I understand how the old fashioned newspaper folks did it back in the day. It went from handwritten notes by journalists to the teletype operators. Since we don’t have video or audio in the court, we rely on notes from journalists and the photographers send in their work as they obtain it. We then republish from our sources.

Justice Merchan is back on the bench.

Trump is largely still, eyes closed or close to it, sitting as he often has during this trial. His fate is now in the hands of the jurors who are filling out their verdict sheet behind closed doors.

The judge reiterates that there is a verdict. The jury, at 4:20, asked for a half hour. They are about to come in.

Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney, is now in the courtroom, seated in the audience behind the prosecutors who tried this case for his office.

The jurors are filling out the actual paperwork. This is their final formality. Then it will be put in front of the judge. What a nail biter.

UPDATE: 2:06 PDT

Trump guilty on counts 9 through 11.

  2. Let us hope that Von Shitzi’s cult members NEVER I.D. the members of the jury that handed down the 34 counts. Not a single one would be safe from the magat morons ever. This is probably the most danger any jury member has ever been in-worse even than going after some crime boss.
