Stephen Miller must be tearing out his remaining strands of hair and pounding on the walls. Trump’s return to MAGA rallies was set to kick off with a night in Tulsa on June 19, Emancipation Day. The racist implications of this have had pundits doing flip flops for the past week. But Trump is at his golf club in New Jersey tonight, tweeting, and this is what just came down.

My best speculation is that Stephen Miller put this together, because what a terrific racist statement to make, nudge nudge wink wink, and then somebody actually explained to Trump what happened in Tulsa in 1921 and how abysmally the optics would play if he went through with this plan. The destruction of the Greenwood section of Tulsa was the the worst episode of racial violence ever seen in the country to that time and frankly, ever since as well.

Is it possible Trump will change the date of the RNC acceptance speech, set for the 60th anniversary of Ax Handle Sunday in Jacksonville, Florida? That was doubtlessly Stephen Miller’s work as well, and every bit as tone deaf and awful as the Juneteenth rally date.

Is Miller on the way out? He used to be good buds with Jared Kushner, surprisingly, the Nazi and the Jew. Maybe Kushner is playing palace intrigue and offing Miller to save daddy-in-law. Who knows? Trump world is imploding and maybe the crown prince is trying to save the day. Anything is possible.

  1. Ursula my dear, let me (sadly) correct you – the JEWISH Nazi who’s family are immigrants and all spoke Yiddish, and the other Jew. And, while we know what total absolute and unconditional evil loser dregs of humanity those two are, I feel it necessary (sadly, given that my people have produced those two vile monsters) to remind everyone that my people are also only 1/6 th of 1% of all of humanity, and yet we HAVE produced 29% of all Nobel Prize winners. Or more to the point, I personally have produced two wonderful incredible caring young men who are kind, considerate Trump haters who wouldn’t hurt a fly. I somehow feel it necessary to say this in the age where Black Lives Matter (among all its VERY fantastic and powerful positives) somehow has also produced a majority of people who proclaim (with big, passionate smiles of longing) that TRUE peace and justice and the end of all bigotry and racism for all the people of the world will only come when “Palestine will be free, from the River to the Sea”, which for anyone who knows the slightest bit of geography knows means “racism and bigotry will end all over the world when we kill 8 million jews, muslems, christians, Bahai, Samaritans, Buddhists, etc”
In today’s world, I have this need to reinforce that my people have brought a lot of good to humanity and I somehow have a hard time accepting when Tamika Mallory, Roger Waters, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, AOC, “Bob” Bland, Linda Sarsour, and on and on and the road goes on forever… ALL say “we don’t hate Jews. We have friends who are jews. We just hate Israel” I’m sensitive about this bullshit because (call me crazy), when the people who say “let’s kill 60% of the world’s jews, and then there will be peace all over and all racism will end and the skies will sing Kumbaya” and then tell me in the same breath that they don’t hate Jews at all, I’m kinda skeptical, ya know?
“You don’t hate us, but you think the only path to world peace is to kill 60% of us. Yeah, I get it. Makes TOTAL sense. Irrefutable logic Minister Farrakhan”

60 million Christians voted for Trump, and of course there’s Trump himself, but I don’t hear half the world rioting in universities and beating up Christian kids in elementary schools with the slogan “Kill 60% of all the Christians in the world so we can have peace and justice and the end of racism”. But I hear all kinds of shit anytime a jew does the teeniest crappy little thing:
“What have the Jews ever brought Humanity anyway??!!”

So as much as I despise Miller and Kushner, (and trust me on this, I despise them WAY more than any of you non-Jews possibly could !!!!!!!! ) I always fear that reference to it without bringing up their BOSS Trump (the Christian) gives haters way too much leeway and subtle encouragement to go after us, yet fucking again!

    • I was aware that Miller’s uncle basically publicly disowned him when he pulled the stunt with the kids in cages, and he said that Miller’s own grandfather couldn’t have gotten into the country if there was somebody like Miller doing what he was doing in the government. Basically, Miller is a twisted hate monger and those people end up becoming Nazis. Don’t know why, but I have observed this. It will be interesting to find out why Trump walked this back, really. Somebody persuaded him this was a bad idea. And where oh where is the eagerly awaited speech on race and unity that Miller was authoring, any idea?

      • Because when you’re that full of hate, you figure that only you know how to reduce the source of the hate, “others”. And since you have to protect all of “your” kind, you realize that you have to take the bull by the horns and just do it, because only YOU can do it right. Now THAT attitude is what leads to Fascism. Welcome to Italy in the 1930’s.

  2. “Many of my African American friends and supporters have reached out to suggest that we consider changing the date out…”

That equates to Diamond and Silk and I’m sure they were all too happy to help.

    *smirk*

    • No one is more sensitive to the term “Nazi” than me, but after the family destruction they heaped on Hispanics over the past few years, any people who can support Trump after that, come VERY close, and that includes Miller, Kushner, Barr and pretty much most of the collaborators in Congress other than Mitt and Amash. And while I don’t hesitate to call them crypto-nazis, the reality is Trump is in every way Moussolini. He doesn’t know it, but that’s who he is a clone of.

      • “Bigoted assholes” is a little wordier but it can work as a better catch-all than “Nazi”. We should never allow ourselves to forget that this kind of abuse and genocide didn’t start with the Not-Sees (see “winning” the American West, Armenian Genocide) nor is it sadly likely to end there (see China’s current treatment of Uighurs, Middle East’s oppression of Yazidi population).

        • Yeah, but the Nazis went further in their genocide than any other single group.

And, we shouldn’t forget that the Nazis also targeted far more than just Jews: The Roma people (who’ve also seen a massive increase in violence directed at them by right-wing political groups throughout Eastern Europe) and gays and lesbians (gay men were put in labor camps while lesbians were routinely raped in “service to the Fatherland”; before the Nazis, Germany had one of the most thriving OPENLY gay and lesbian communities in the entire world) and Slavs (which makes Putin’s association very strange; certainly he has to remember what happened to Stalin when he cozied up to Hitler). It’s just that Hitler’s absolute targeting of and rounding up Jewish populations in Germany and its conquered territories as well as Germany’s allies that ended up making the Holocaust get so focused on the Jews (it should be noted that Italy’s Jews fared better while Mussolini was in power compared to the other fascist states like Hungary, Croatia and Bulgaria).

          • I have NEVER forgotten any of the above, Joseph. I would however argue that they only managed such through having 20th Century tech to make it all work. And you forgot one group in the Nazi targeted: the “mentally defective”. Dr. Asperger, for whom the syndrome is now unfortunately named, fed a lot of his patients to the camps and he was far from alone.

          • Holy crap Sharkster, I never knew that, and I know a TON about the Nazis and that era. Wow. New learning. Thank you for that Bare.

          • No problem, man. I read Rise And Fall Of The Third Reich cover to cover back in the day, which is how I knew what Joseph mentioned. As a probable person who has the aforementioned unfortunately named syndrome, my tidbit was something I ran into a few years ago when folks started taking a closer look at Asperger’s actual record as a doctor. There was talk of renaming the syndrome in light of the unearthed facts but nothing has yet to come of it.

          • As someone who is deeply ADHD, and has to work so hard to focus on long tedious important things that I can’t whip thru quickly, I sometimes find myself jealous of those around me who are Aspergers. Their (your?) ability to focus on one thing that must get done because its important is truly inspiring to me, and something of which I an be quite jealous. So here goes with my two alternate names: “Opposite of ADHD Syndrome”
            Catchy, eh?
            Or how about this winner:
“Lucky bastards who can REALLY focus and thus achieve amazing things with their lives, Syndrome”
Can’t beat that snappy name, can you?
            Ok, here’s my last
            “Unusually gifted at focussing, syndrome”
Believe me Bare, I’ve tried to get it down to 2 or 3 words but have so far failed. But my point is, I REALLY don’t think Aspergers is a “disability”. I find people like you are “otherwise gifted”. And I mean that. If you had the opposite of Aspergers (like I do) and were running a growing business with employees and PPP money and court cases and hundreds of customers, you would understand how critical it is for me to focus effectively on one thing at a time. Easy for you. Requires tremendous focus and energy for me. I can do it. But I really have to work at it.
In any case, between you and I, let’s figure oout a name that takes that SOB out of it. I believe in us, Bare-dude.

      • Absolutely correct. He would have made an excellent kapo, beause he would have relished the role. The POS would have sent his own parents to the chambers. He is human garbage. Actually, I genuinely wonder if there is something very wrong with him. Like Trump. something inside his brain just doesn’t function. Or maybe they’re just two sociopaths. Either way, I will be happy if I never come across Trump, Kushner or Miller in my entire life.

  3. And from here, things will only get worse for him. His people will do their best to make it worse for us too but that’s been true since jump.

Can’t really say I care who’s behind this date and location, personally. Trump’s people are all equally elitist scumbags in my eyes and Trump is too far gone and evil to do anything but go along with them.

  4. It was intentional, announce his maggot rally on the specific date, cause an uproar, then have a change of heart to try and show everyone how he is really not the biggest asshole in the whole wide world.

    • Oh, I’m sure he thought it was a neat idea but someone else came up with it (are we so sure that ONLY Miller would have thought along those lines?). It’s still a stupid-ass idea to have it there for two reasons: 1) Oklahoma’s vote for him is a mortal lock already and 2) the COVID 19 is already skyrocketing there and that extra week will make it more of a hot zone. So the simplest explanation remains the best: he’s going there because he’s guaranteed an adoring crowd. It will do nothing to help his actual campaign.

    • No way. That implies he thought it out. I don’t believe the man (or something approximating one) can think 10 seconds into the future at this point. No, I think you attribute more intellect to him than I think is left.

  5. When I was doing a little searching around, I found this very interesting bit regarding the ticket sales for the event.

    From the CBS/DFW website:

When supporters go online to register for tickets to the event, they will see the following disclaimer:

“By clicking register below, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending the Rally, you and any guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.; BOK Center; ASM Global; or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers liable for any illness or injury.”

As the Church Lady would so often say, “Isn’t that special?”

I wonder if anyone who got a ticket before Donald’s change of “heart” (*ack!*) but now can’t go to the rally (maybe because they can’t get the time off from their jobs–as if any MAGAts are still working) will be able to get a refund WITHOUT suing?

    • Yeah, folks were reporting on that notice on Twitter yesterday, saw it as a prime example of Trump’s pocketbook over the people he claims to represent. If they bought a ticket, they can kiss that money goodbye until further notice.

  6. Greenwood and Rosewood, where white people utterly destroyed two whole communities on flimsy pretexts. And (some) white people have the nerve to condemn blacks for property damage in the wake of a brutal, cold-blooded killing of a black person. Although I will never condone the property damage, I can completely empathize with the rage.

  7. Parscale is now claiming 800K people have signed up – that’s 20% of the population of OK.
The giveaway sentence is this: “Biggest data haul and rally signup of all times by 10X.”
It’s not the rally, but the data: all those names and emails. (I’d be using a burner email, but I’m not an R.)
