Let’s see how Donald deals with this one when he hears about it. Will he rage and tell the people in the poll that they can leave, that he doesn’t want them in MAGA? Or will he issue his usual battle cry, “Fake News?” Or will he start to get worried about what the future might hold? After all, he flubbed on Epstein. He told his cult to forget about that subject and they told him no way. It’s very likely that some of the 14% polled are part of the pro-Epstein files group. In any event, this is not news that Trump will be happy with, especially since he’s given to lying how his favorability ratings are in the 90’s.

Do the arithmetic. The six percent who now realize that they would have voted for Harris would likely have tipped the election in her favor and we wouldn’t be having this conversation. What I would like to know is what have they seen in the past six months that wasn’t already obvious to them? Because we all predicted:
- Trump would try some form of martial law;
- Trump would go batshit on punishing immigrants and migrants, to the point of crops rotting in the fields;
- Trump would abuse his pardon power, like he did the first time;
- Trump would wreck the economy;
- Trump would appoint a lot of fools and people incompetent to do the jobs he asked them to do.
- Trump would spend loads of time on the golf course and occasionally show up for a photo op at the White House.
And I could go on until my fingers start to cramp. All of this was known. All of this was said. But apparently, miraculously, only now are some Trump voters getting the idea.
Ok. Let us not seek to reason why any further. Let’s just hope these newly awakened voters vote Democratic in 2026 so that we can begin to unravel this mess. Taking back the House is essential. Taking back the House and Senate would send an incredible message.
Let us hope that America is headed back to health. The goal is to stonewall the lunatic in the White House in his last two years. Then and only then can some healing begin to take place. The incredible irony here is that Trump is exactly the situation for whom the 25th Amendment was written. But nobody in the Republican party has the guts to exercise that power. At least not now. But if Trump gets crazy enough and the rest of the GOP is simply looking to save itself, then that situation could change on a dime. Let us hope.

Of course they don’t have the guts to carry it through. They didn’t have the guts after Jan 6 to follow through with an impeachment. If that act didn’t deserve it, I don’t know what does.
