Just a brief article to quickly note that rare appearance of unbridled truth on American State TV Channel, the Trump Support Network, Fox. Media critic Howard Kurtz went WAY out on a limb over Trump’s morning tweets involving the media, the ones symbolizing the panic that Trump is feeling right now – these ones:
I just cannot state strongly enough how totally dishonest much of the Media is. Truth doesn’t matter to them, they only have their hatred & agenda. This includes fake books, which come out about me all the time, always anonymous sources, and are pure fiction. Enemy of the People!

What’s going on at @CNN is happening, to different degrees, at other networks – with @NBCNews being the worst. The good news is that Andy Lack(y) is about to be fired(?) for incompetence, and much worse. When Lester Holt got caught fudging my tape on Russia, they were hurt badly!

The second one, the one with the allegation of tampering with tape, is – of course – insane, which doesn’t mean it is newsworthy. Hell, it isn’t even the part that really got to Howard Kurtz, nah, insanity – Kurtz’s used to dealing with that. He’s much more bothered by the fact that Trump called out the head of news networks personally. Then Kurtz did the one thing sure to drive Trump craziest, compared him to Obama, unfavorably.
“The president of the United States should not be calling for the firing of two heads of private companies simply because he disagrees with and doesn’t like their media coverage of him,” Kurtz said. “It’s using the bully pulpit in a way that feels like a personal grudge, especially in the case of Jeff Zucker, who had been on leave after surgery for serious heart problems.”
“If President Obama had said, ‘Hey, Fox News, you should get rid of Roger Ailes, because I think their coverage of me is unfair, it would have been an explosion on the right.’”
Of course Fox won’t deal with the pure insanity, nor the lies, nor the constant sneers at the “fake news” enemies of the people. Nope.
But, it’s a start, for whatever that’s worth. Video here.
