What a drag it must be to owe money to everybody and I mean everybody. Donald Trump touts himself as a business success and a billionaire but if you actually take a look at his financial statement it is riddled with unpaid judgments and mounting interest on those judgments — not to mention all the different cities and police and fire departments that Trump stiffed back in 2016 and 2020. As a result of that behavior he can’t get certain venues to book him again, and offer adequate security, until he pays the past due bills.
The latest bad debt to blow up in Trump’s face is the outstanding judgment he owes to none other than Christopher Steele. According to a report from Sky News, “Trump is in breach of a British High Court ruling in March that ordered him to pay 300,000 pounds (approximately $385,000), after he lost his lawsuit against against Orbis Business Intelligence, which in 2016 put together a dossier alleging that Trump and his close associates were compromised by Russian intelligence. The dossier included salacious details claiming that Trump had participated in sex parties in St. Petersburg, Russia, with the country’s intelligence allegedly possessing video of the now-convicted felon receiving ‘golden showers’ from Russian sex workers.”
You may recall the details of that case which was Trump making himself the victim, surprise surprise, and claiming reputational damages, etc. In any event, the argument did not fly and a judgment was awarded and Trump’s trying to stiff a UK company now, that has lawfully won a judgment against him. Sound familiar?
That of course raises the issue of whether 1. Trump would be invited to visit King Charles when and if he would be elected president again and 2. Would the King make the necessary extra arrangements to have Trump be able to even enter the country? 3. Would the King intercede to make Trump pay the judgment? Being a convicted felon has automatically foreclosed his right to enter 37 foreign countries, including the UK and Ireland where he actually owns properties.
The Scots, for one, have gone on record saying that they’re delighted that he can’t come to Scotland right now. They had a lot of reasons to dislike him.

On Friday morning, Steele pointed out that Trump hasn’t complied with the court order for two months, opening him up to legal enforcement if he travels to the U.K.
Trump’s a deadbeat. They don’t like him abroad. They didn’t like him abroad before he became a deadbeat (meaning in the UK) or before he became a convicted felon. Nobody likes this man. Of all the Americans that have ever lived, certainly of all the American politicians, Trump is the most reviled.
I don’t believe he can win again and I pray that he doesn’t because he is a disgrace to this country. And we may joke about it now, but the literal truth is that Trump could not be received on a normal state visit at the Court of St. James without first getting special dispensation to enter the country as a convicted felon AND paying his damn bills over there!
Is this the kind of diplomatic impression America wants to make in the world? And you notice that the Republican party is totally mum about all this. They don’t even acknowledge that it is taking place.
Maybe Lara Trump can find an extra $385K to pay off the UK debt so that the negative publicity doesn’t continue to mount. Or maybe she’s too busy off somewhere cutting a new hit single or something equally futile.
The easy answer is for the UK judge to order Trump’s properties seized and awarded to Steele’s company to pay off the debt.
Wait a minute!! Maybe Ms. Carroll might want one of the golf courses.

Hey I’ve commented many times on our past evil and hypocrisy. It seems to run a country, indigenous people get murdered, exploited, and the conquerors then act like God, whoever or whatever that word means, ordained it all.
