This man is filthy and vile and this is utterly disgusting. Trump reposted a meme depicting Kamala Harris “with darkened skin and with the body of a dung beetle on a coconut. Dung beetles feast on animal feces, and the kind depicted in Trump’s awful meme are known as rollers because they roll around animal poop as a traveling food source,” according to Meidas Touch. Reposting a meme like this should be disqualifying in a presidential candidate. There is no respect here, but there is a lot of racism and mental illness displayed. Here’s the whole thing.
You see how an image of joy was translated into an image of ugliness and degradation. Now one of Trump’s followers did this and he didn’t tell the person, “That’s out of line,” no, he reposted it. He finds it worthy of dissemination. This got posted around 6:00 a.m. PDT but has not been reposted to Trump’s Twitter/X feed. Yet. It may be that cooler heads don’t want to rock the Twitter boat although I’m sure Elon is just fine with this image. Plus, if and when this goes to Twitter there will be an explosion, I absolutely guarantee. There probably will be one anyhow as this filters out. Ron Filipkowski has it, Patriot Takes has it, this is on Twitter whether Trump has cross-posted it not.
I’ll tell you what this calls to mind: John McCain had a bright and shining moment back in 2008. A woman at a town hall asked him about Obama and said, “I think he’s an Arab,” (translating as enemy of the state.) And McCain replied, “No, Ma’am, he’s a good man. He and I just disagree about some things.” That was statesmanlike of McCain to say that. He gained my undying respect that day. And yes, I disagreed with a lot of his votes, but disagreeing with a vote or a policy is not life or death in a democracy. Staging a riot at the Capitol and trying to sabotage the certification of an election is life and death in a democracy, literally as well as figuratively.

It is unclear if the darkened skin that covers most of Kamala Harris face in Trump’s meme is supposed to be a darker version her own skin or is supposed to represent the feces she would supposedly be feeding on as a dung beetle.”
It’s 2008 all over again. Although if Trump gets in again, we will be living in Orwell’s “1984” and it will be “the image of a boot stamping on a human face, forever.” That’s who these people are. I know how hyperbolic that statement sounds but unfortunately? It’s not hyperbolic, it’s accurate. This is MAGA. To the extent the GOP can’t sever itself from MAGA, say goodbye to conservatism and so long Republican party, forevermore.
