Trump’s Big Mouth Legalpalooza. And A Monday Bonus

Even a bass wouldn’t get in trouble if it just kept its big mouth shut

I swear to God, Traitor Tot is congenital! He just can’t control that mouth of his. And that Loose lips sink ships attitude is not only going to cost him tens of millions of dollars, it will probably ensure that he hears the lock to a cage door clang shut behind him.

Because it was a short attention span story in the media, I’m not sure that you’re familiar with FrankenTrump’s legal dispute with New York author EJ Carroll. In the surge of Trump sexual misconduct claims a few years ago, Carroll came out and accused His Lowness of sexually assaulting her in the elevator alcove of a Trump New York property.

Of course Trump denied the allegations, but being Trump, he couldn’t just shut up. He had to go on the rally stage and sarcastically deny her claims, including a derisive, Just look at her! Does she look like my type? I don’t think so! Which led Carroll to file a multi million dollar defamation suit against Trump.

Trump went postal when the federal judge found that the case could proceed to the discovery phase, meaning that The Trumpster Fire had to turn over documents requested by the plaintiffs to prepare for trial. But he went ballistic when the judge ordered him to sit for a recorded deposition with Carroll’s lawyers. He fought tooth and nail in court, but finally had to sit for a grilling.

We all already know that El Pendejo Presidente doesn’t take well to a spanking. In the aftermath of the deposition, he returned once again to his loser social media site, Truth Social, to once again assail Carroll, calling her yet again a liar, and claiming that she was just out to make a buck off of him. I’m sure it dropped his blood pressure by a few points.

But what it did was to raise the judge’s blood pressure by several points. The judge held a hearing, in which he found that Trumpelthinskin had violated his gag order on the case, and that his comments were borderline defamation. And as a result of these sins, the judge ordered that Trump’s sealed deposition testimony be unsealed, and made available to the public.

Now I’m sure that once again The Mango Messiah will go to court to fight the decision, but I’m pretty sure that he’s going to go down in flames once again.  again. And sooner or later, we’ll all be able to look for ourselves and count the number of I don’t recall, I don’t remember, and I take the 5th Trump uttered. And Trump’s big mouth will sink his defamation suit against Carroll, who has already filed another one against him. You GO, girl!

Now here’s your Monday bonus coverage. Apparently all of the rest of us aren’t the only ones sick of the snails pace of the DOJ. State officials are getting pissed off too, and they’re not being shy about letting the DOJ know about it.

In the aftermath of the 2020 Fake elector scheme, Michigan Attorney Dana Nessel had her office do a thorough investigation of the circumstances. And what she found was that not only did the Michigan fake electors violate state law, they violated federal law as well. So she sent the whole shebang to the DOJ as a criminal referral. And from the DOJ?

*Crickets* And now, fresh off of a victory over a Trump election denier, Dana Nessel has had enough. She announced today that since the DOJ doesn’t seem to have the balls for the fight, she’s resurrecting the state investigation to prepare for a grand jury and possible indictments against the fake electors.

Personally? I honestly don’t care who takes these miscreants down. There’s plenty of blame to go around, and there’s plenty of glory to go around for the kill. And in Michigan, you’re going to have several Trump lawyers who need lawyers, as well as Trump himself, since he invited the conspirators to the Oval Office for a pow-wow. I don’t care who does it, just take these shitheels down.
