Donald Trump is still sounding slurred and looking shaky, on what was his second night in Nevada, trying to pry it out of the blue column and into the red. Trump spoke to a group of mostly maskless people at a rally in Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas, and told them that Joe Biden got a Nobel prize. Now what’s interesting about this, is that Trump is the one who keeps bringing up the issue of mental acuity, claiming he’s the candidate with all his marbles, whereas “Sleepy Joe” “Hidin’ Biden” is the one who’s mentally challenged.

He referred to Obama as “Barack Hussein Obama” and actually led a chant of “Lock Him Up!” The man’s pathological jealousy of Obama is beyond textbook description at this point.
I happened to see FOX the other day and they were talking all this Nobel Prize crap up. They think his whatever it was with one of the Arab countries is going to get him the prize. Wasn’t he just bragging about all the weapons he just sold to the Saudis? What is it, the Nobel War Prize now?

Medicine – his handling of the Covid-19 crisis
Literature – his fantasy stories
Peace – telling the Israelis that they are at liberty to simply annex someone else’s territory
Physics – his handling of the rapidly escalating climate crisis
Economics – his handling of the US national debt
Chemistry – his ideas on injecting bleach plus the effects of using chemical weapons against protestors.
Which of the above does he believe he should get?
He thinks he should get them all because he is a “stable genius” and his ideas have transformed the world and he is a gift for all mankind.

Perhaps it’s time for a new “award” to be created. I think the International Criminal Court should establish a Hall of Shame for those guilty of Crimes Against Humanity using those convicted at Nuremburg and in lesser known trials over Japanese atrocities in the Pacific during that era as a starting point. There are plenty of despots since then that could be added. Genocide is an ugly thing and should be publicly recognized. Each year there is always someone in the world who is guilty of causing an appalling amount of death and suffering so starting an annual Crimes Against Humanity Award seems like something that should be done by the ICC. Given that so far roughly one hundred fifty thousand Americans are dead that shouldn’t be (because we had the resources to prevent it had they been properly marshalled and utilized), millions have and will for years at least suffer debilitating lingering effects from Covid, and tens of millions of lives have been negatively impacted by the economic disruption (again, ongoing) I think Donald J. Trump is a fitting first recipient – he has created a genocide and it’s not limited to these shores. In the past, as in only a few short years ago the U.S. with its vast resources would have led the entire world in fighting this pandemic and in boxing terms would have limited it to a hard punch from a heavyweight instead of the gang-style beat down that puts the recipient into a hospital ICU. Instead, to protect his own self-interest at the very least (since we are talking Trump and his enjoyment on seeing, if not inflicting pain on others that’s a consideration too) Trump made a conscious decision to stand aside and let a pandemic loose upon humanity. That is a crime in and of itself. So he should be recognized for that, and each year the person who has caused the most death and suffering should be recognized as well.
Of course, I rather doubt Trump or any other recipient would want to show up at The Hague for the ceremony!

Obama REALLY zinged him at one of the Correspondents Dinner in his last term. I mean REALLY burned him. Most people would laugh but you could tell it humiliated BLOTUS in front of all those people. BLOTUS’ obsession, I think, comes entirely from that. A man of color who got ‘uppity’, didn’t know his place, had the gall to belittle THE most Stable of all geniuses.
Yes, I saw a clip of that dinner, the one where Trump was just seething. Someone who was there sitting next to the stable genius, commented later that , and she was thinking “oh, oh, he’s never going to let this go,” or something to that effect. I think all this hate for Obama may stem from that dinner. You know the funny thing is he once had high praise for Obama he called him a “champion” in his “Art of the deal” book.
All of this is nuts, unhinged crazy as usual, but to be instigating the chanting trope once again of “lock (fill in the name)up” is beyond unseemly. Clearly Trump not only dislikes Obama, but he is terrified of him and what he may bring to bear on the election over the next seven or so weeks. Ditto Michele. So. Surprised he isn’t having a crowd scream that Michele should also be locked up. Or maybe Vindman is next; and Murphy; and Nora Dannehy; and Mattis; and Brennan; and on and on it could go. Meanwhile, all the screaming spreads the virus and this then could be something else he could blame on, Oh, I don’t know, maybe the governors whose states he is disrupting?
And meanwhile the far west burns. And today he actually revisited his old clean the forest floor BS.
And today he was in Sacramento telling us that trees dry out and after a year and a half they’re so dry they explode and start burning.
He needs to be in a locked suite somewhere.
His greatest problem is that he cannot tolerate the concept that a “black man” could possibly possess intelligence and behavior far superior to his own. The Nobel Prize? He even can acknowledge that someone in the prior administration got it, bit MUST say Biden because Biden is white. Obama, to his demented mind, could never get it, just like it is impossible that Obama was born in the USA
