The issue of abortion, and how many weeks, or who gets to decide, or what the exceptions are or are not, comes down to one thing: subjugation of women. You know that, I know that, this ding a ling knows it. And Donald Trump knows that the siren he sets off every time he talks about “every legal scholar” wanting Roe v. Wade overturned really boils down to one thing: the policy of female control and subjugation. That’s the entire reproductive rights issue in a nutshell: let’s oppress and control women.

You should not be having sex unless the Big Republican Daddies say that it’s okay for you to do so. And when will they do that? Well, let’s get the list out:
- Better be married — and we mean to a man, because the Biblical freaks will come after you with the marriage is between a man and a woman in a marriage bed rule, everything else is immoral, to one extent or another;
- Even if you are married, you better not need to or want to use contraceptives. “Real Women” are designed to spend their lives barefoot and pregnant, doncha know?
- God help you if you miscarry. The way the laws read in some parts of the country, if you go into sepsis, toxic shock, whatever, that’s just tough luck. Heaven forfend that somebody might give you a partial abortion, which you need in the case of a perfectly natural miscarriage, because if they can do it for you, then they can do it for your pregnant sister who actually wants and needs an abortion.
- Finally, this is what you need to get through your head: The Republican worldview is that women are Second Class Citizens. That’s why the Big Republican Daddies need to control them. Once that makes sense to you, the GOP has done its job.
- So you better decide that your heart belongs to your Big Republican Daddy and vote that way, because that’s how Gawd wants things done. Whose Gawd? Why the evangelical wingnut Gawd, of course, that’s who votes for Donald Trump.
- Finally, bear in mind that if you’re high enough up in the hierarchy and a Big Republican Daddy gets you pregnant, then of course you can have a safe medical abortion. All things are possible for those who play ball.

If you take even a casual look a the males wanting to subjugate women (i.e. ‘pube/magats) they are men who do not get laid unless and until they trick some poor broad into marrying them OR they find one so lacking in intelligence they could be taken comatose. Every time I see some xitter vid/article by one of these putzes I shake my head and say to myself “you know, you’d get laid a lot more if you just became or acted like a decent human being”. Women of breeding age–you had better be paying attention because you are at one of those turning points in history and it depends very much on you VOTING. You can stay at home, sitting on your ass watching…whatever dumb shit is on the boob tube (and it’s just about all dumb shit) or you can get off your ass and vote. If you stay home instead of voting, might as well get used to it because that is going to be your entire life unless hubby takes your ass to church. Unfortunately, I have a feeling the people needing this knowledge are at this very moment watching some nonsense “reality” show on the idiot box. They are fucked…and will be literally whether they want it or not.
Look, I’m almost 79, and I can’t begin to count how many women I have known tricked into marrying a jackass (and unable to get away.) Some were dumb, yes. Most were brainwashed, largely by the parents who should have been nurturing them, but also by society in general. “How will you ever get a man if you are too smart?” “It’s so important for women to be pretty.” I could go one, but they are basically ringng changes on the same theme. And remember, all this at a time when women couldn’t even get credit in their own names.
I only escaped because my mother, wisowed when I was born, brought me up to take care of myself. At 12, she got me a checking account in my own name. At thirteen, she worked with a store to have me buy something – I forget what, but it was a jeweler – on time and make the payments faithfully – and I doubt they did this on their own, but they sent me a letter commending my responsibility for having fulfilled my obligation. I still have it. She did everything she could to bring me up to be “a woman of independent means” (though mine were earned, not inherited.) In other words, to make an analogy, she vaccinated me against being brainwashed. There was no way I was ever going to get married just to “have a man.”
In Ken Burns’s documentary on “Country Music” it was pointed out that Tammy Wunette had a big hit with “Stand by Your Man.” Loretta Lynn had a big hit with “The Pill” (great lyrics, BTW. If you don’t know it you ought to look them up.) One of those two women had a long happy marriage. The other had several divorces and remarriages. Which had the long marriage.? Of course it was Loretta.
It just dawned on me, that she has the same mindset at Boebert and MTG. This is that attitude expressed in a black woman. No wonder she cozies up with his lowness!
