It is on Truth Social. I verified it myself at 7:29 a.m. PDT. It was not moved over to Trump’s X account and probably won’t be, with this furor starting up, but it’s up there.
It’s no wonder that poll workers are leaving their jobs, with this level of harassment going on. Now these comments are from MAGA accounts, as is obvious.
I read stuff like this and I begin to wonder if this country isn’t simply too full of idiots to continue as a democracy. Trump is doing daily angertainment and the GOP-led House is collapsed in chaos. A chaotic environment is ripe for strongman takeover. That’s how Mussolini and Hitler got in. People just wanted the trains to run on time, the bakers to bake bread, some kind of normalcy. And what they got was fascism on a level that this world had never seen. 53,000,000 people died in WWII.
Fascism is what the United States could be looking at, due to the collapse of the GOP. Fox News has polluted the political groundwaters with a quarter century of lies, so that Rupert Murdoch could make a few more billion dollars. Right-wing media is big business. Steve Bannon used his right-wing platform to collect over a million dollars for a mythical wall. The Epoch Times is the fourth-largest subscribed to newspaper in this country, which is only a few steps behind USA Today and the New York Times.
We are at a strange juncture in history. Mitt Romney said just yesterday that Trump displayed a failure of character and that that failure of character is “changing the psyche of our nation and the heart of out nation.” He said “it will take a long time, if ever to repair,” and this is something I agree with.
Confront the idiots at every turn…politely if possible, if not, eventually they will need, as Mr. Grady said to Jack in the restroom in The Shining…”a good talking to…perhaps…a bit more.” Anyone who’s seen the movie knows…Mr. Grady ‘corrected’ his twin girls and wife with an axe. OMG Scott I thought you were a bit younger, not a year ahead of me (at UNC-G in 72-). I had the same reaction you did about the music and we have some very similar tastes there…my recently deceased love of my life was a big Black Sabbath fan. A lot of those folks are STILL on my playlists and I’ve seen a few in concert. Definitely my music, along with Motown which is ALSO my music.

Gettin…I was in love with Diana Ross as a teenager. Motown rocks to this day. I was a big Who/Zeppelin/Rolling Stones fan. Who knew our country would turn out to be Tommy…blind, deaf, and dumb. Cue up Street Fightin Man.
