Donald Trump’s pattern for the next two months is clearly set. It’s going to be nothing but apocalypse, end times, final days, you get the idea. It goes without saying that Trump’s arch nemesis, the free press, is the progenitor of this impending doom, but they’ll get theirs, he assures us. In fact, they’re all going to die — of boredom.
Trump told Laura Ingraham, “At some point, I will not be president. Hopefully, that will be in five years from now, but I will not be president. And they’re going to die, they’re all going to die. Can you imagine if they had to cover Sleepy Joe Biden?”
Wow, that’s a tough one. I have my ouija board right here, let’s ask it, “What would it be like for the press to cover Joe Biden?” Wait, the planchette is moving… “R” “U” — it’s on a roll, folks — “o-u-t ….of your fucking mind? They covered Biden for eight years and thirty before that when he was in the senate. Don’t bother me again or I’ll send a demon up there to bite you in the ass.”
Looks like the spirit world is as fed up as the rest of us. Then Trump said, “It won’t be very much fun. But much more importantly, our country would go to hell, our stock markets will crash — as sure as you’re sitting there. We will have problems like you’ve never had.”
Off the top of my head, I can’t think of anything much worse than having “a pathological liar, a stone-cold moron, the leader of a crime syndicate, and a guy who thinks people who didn’t vote for him deserve to die—all wrapped into one large orange casing” as president, to quote Bess Levin at Vanity Fair, but maybe I lack imagination.

Those reporters will be sorry. They’ll get theirs. And if they don’t die of boredom, like the leader of the free world predicts, then crazy Colorado congressman Ken Buck will kill them, because he wants to “kill ’em all and let God sort ’em out.” The Republican party, leadership you can depend on.

Some in the spirit world say Trump will be proven to be completely illegitimate and not only will every thing he has done be voided, but he will be removed from the record books as the 45th President. Reporting in the US will not be boring for a long long time. Picking over Republican bones will be most entertaining.

Trump literally thinks the entire world revolves around him. No, that’s an understatement — the very existence of the universe, and of all life, depends on him every second. Psalm 104:29, “Thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.” 1 Samuel 2:6, “The Lord killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up.” Acts 17:28, “For in him we live, and move, and have our being.”
